No sorry, my town doesnt even have a freight depo.
Also they really just are not worth it, need to be refurbished. They are hardly worth $145US, let alone the shipping price (about $400US)

Right, new Rims are on. Just the fitment I was after and they actually look better than I though they would.

They are only 50profile tyres and I will be putting 55profile tyres on shortly (already have them), that along with coilovers should give me the stance Im after

Weather is being gay at the moment, nice and sunny for 5 days, then rains all weekend (major floods in my town again :( )

But here is some pics of this weird/awesome Carrozzerria Speaker thing that I bought for $33

  • nice find,
adjust tweets, square 6 or 8, and amp in the middle.
i wonder what car thats belongs too?
    let us know when mounted.

As far as I can tell its an aftermarket speaker system made by Carrozzeria (Pioneer Japan) and it came from an Imported Mitsubishi Mirage.

Unfortunately its big, very big and also very heavy. This is a problem as its at the other end of the country so I have to wait for a buddy to move all his stuff from there back to where I am in November to receive it.

However I also have some other goodies, like a set of BRAND NEW rear mudflaps that i got for $9 from Honda NZ as well as a Roof Console for EK Sedan that hold your sunglasses etc

Oh man I love those! AJ Racing used to carry them. Not the last time I checked though. I would really love something like this for my wagon too. I'm very envious every time I ride in Billboards Element. There's a very cool ceiling storage unit in those.

Hopefully I can make it fit! Honda NZ was having a clear out and there were a couple of these consules for $12, so me and a mate got one each and it bolted straight to his DC2 so Im hoping it will go straight into the shuttle, otherwise I will use it in the DB8

Did some work today, all wiring is now done bar one wire (typically one of the few wires that prevents me from starting it, the wire for ICM) need to suck some solder out of the little socket thing and I forgot to bring home my solder sucker from work :(

Only Cellphone pics but pics none the less
The Engine bay essentially done (need to swap new rocker cover on):
    490.jpg

Brand New Rear Mudflaps, been sitting in storage at Honda NZ since 1991 apparently, and EK roof console:
    491.jpg

And even washed the Shuttle (was covered in Pollen and I got hayfever):
    492.jpg

So all things going well the brake booster should be here for next weekend and if the weather is good I will throw that in and bleed all the brakes. Then I just need to fine tune the modified shift linkages so they dont flop around like a cock in a sock and its all ready to be inspected! Technically it shouldnt pass as I need to pay $400 and get all modifications certified to say they have been done right and are safe, but will see if I can squeeze it through without that this time around
  • loven it man. good work.

The roof console was $20nz as honda nz was clearing out old stock.
I dont know much about the wheels and have tried searching for info. The wheels are stamped as work wheels and the center cap says nezart. Thats all i know

  • It's cool man. I really like those wheels a LOT. HAnds down one of the cleanest looking era-appropriate wheels I think.

Thanks, I will endeavor to get better pics once its going. The wheels look a LOT better.

Im trying to use period specific parts where possible, I am currently bidding on a oldschool "Trust" JASMA exhaust system

i like how you started with some subtle changes little by little and then BAM, b18 swap lol. the new wheels look great and the stance is pretty nice as well. Good job so far, keep up the good work

There are a few imperfections as you would expect for a 21year old car but for the most part its very tidy. Previous owners must have really looked after it.

Haha yes I never had ANY plans to go this far, blown thrust bearing and too many hours on this forum gave me the inspiration for the swap. Im a bit embarrassed that it has drawn out so long though! I mean I drove it in January with the motor and all that running, now its basically September and I cant even do that! Such is life however and I know I will use it to its full potential once it gets going, I know I always say it, but, this WILL be running soon!

In other news today I won an Auction for what I believe to be a TRUST exhaust system, grand total of $181NZ
    765.jpg
As far as I can tell from that pic it is pretty much this system:
    766.jpg
So thats being delivered on Friday, then I need to have the rest of the exhaust enlarged to 2.25" and have a Catalytic Converter put back in ready for the Certification process.

Sadly I wont have as much money to spend on this from now, I have set myself the goal of owning my own house by the age of 23, so basically next November. Lets see how that goes
  • Just as I had hoped

Also gave the inside of my Integra a quick clean this morning (needs a vacuum still)

  • Excellent news, have managed to find an excellent condition Mugen SW2 steering wheel (yes that makes 6 steering wheels I have in total now  )

I mainly wanted this as its a part from the early 90's, so that fits in with the theme of the build. I had found a couple on a japanese auction site but sadly they were $800NZ+shipping. I managed to find this for around 1/10th of that

    656.jpg
Nothing fancy to look at, but thats the point
  • Geeze! 6 steering wheels? Why so many? And are you looking to sell any? ;)
