Hatch. Same thing, I think. It's longer, nosewise....dunno if I all the way like it.
  • Cuz I am a picture whore...

Did full poly bushing replacement, including trans mounts on the german Honda Civic Sedan.

  • Jumped into this like I jump into a lot of things. I do have 2 P28 ECUs and all the wiring, I guess I am just getting discouraged by thinking too much about the wiring. I want to do it all without buying a jumper. In my mind, as long as you have electricity and a ground, you should be able to make anything work. Hopefully I am correct.

Next will be a full hydro conversion. I pulled the entire system out of a 1995 Civic, right down to the single clutch pedal. (which I don't think I can use) I just hope I can figure something out, if I cannot use the single pedal, to convert the cable pedal that already exists in the car.

Borrowed a hoist from one of my employees, great guy :P, so the engine should be out tomorrow and the mini-me in, also.

So, as it stands, the car will not function for a bit, until I figure out the non-mechanical parts with a D16Z6 head, D15B7 block and a 1993 Si transmission.

I really hope this isn't going to be as difficult as I am thinking it is going to be.
  • Pulled the old engine and got the new one in today. 6 hours of frustration, dirt and ended in success!

Not going to paint the bay. I am too impatient and it doesn't look terrible being silver.

    219.jpg

    Pulled the firewall blanket, though.

    220.jpg

New clutch. Just going with the cable trans for now.
