Looking good, whats the final color going to be?
  • Same color as the hood. The roof and hatch are flat black. The rear quarters are going to be basically 100% Bondo, lots of rust on the car that won't be getting the proper fix as the BMW takes pretty much all of my car money.
  • Primer and rock guard...
  • Wow. Busy thread!
  • A little more today. Door handles back on, rear window trim back on and air conditioning system removed.

What is the measurement of the tube used on the air intake manifold???
  • 3" I did it to be funny, but it seems to work just fine.
  • green battery??!! i want one.
    subscribed
  • Hahaha! It's just an Interstate battery.
  • now i know what to get once my battery dies, screw optima, non green tops :D

what color is that? looks kind o like mustang orange(what they claim is red)
  • Color is a mix of 2 mistints that I picked up from a local paint shop.
  • Starting to look real good. Keep it up. :D
  • Progress will be slowed a bit, as I received most of the parts for my M30 rebuild. I still need to respray the hood and paint the front bumper cover. Anyone know of a good source (inexpensive) source for newer bumper signals?
  • Phone pic.

If you switch to hatchback/sedan/crx rear struts, it won't be so low in the back. The wagon rear struts have a lower spring perch (and longer rear springs) than the rest of the civics/crx.

Nice job on fixing it up, and sweet 5-series.

you need to paint your skirts, put your moldings back on, and paint the top of your bumpers above the molding back to black. the car will look 1000x better. good start though so far, nice to see somebody putting in work.
  • Put on an Integra lip and steering wheel. The Prelude wheel was too close to the stalks.
  • Put in the hatchback struts in the rear as suggested....much better.
