To get out of the house ran up the road to see a mechanic I used to work with to talk about a few things and got onto the subject of my exhaust and that being why I dont drive the wagon, and well he said I could have his old Apexi exhaust off his integra. Not really the type I was looking for but free is always good and he has a friend that'll put it on free as well so works for me. It is a big fart can type any ideas how I can have it mounted so it doesnt look to stupid? Ill post pics when I pick it up. Now if I could find that kinda deal on a d15b2 or something like that it would be an even greater day.

Today picked up the exhaust,im really not sure about it being so big. Here's a pic sitting under the car cause I have nowhere else to put for now, and I might not even use it. Also I cleaned a bit yesterday and put all the power stuff in a storage bin. Not sure if I wanna sell it. It is complete with whole car harness etc.

Have you heard the exhaust on your buddy's car? It doesn't look terribly huge and if it sounds okay that might be good enough to live with for a while. I hate to hear about further injuries. I hope you have a chance to heal up some before your next one, lol!
  • keep up the progress. i like the bumper pole. just a small touch makes some people look and say ohh man check that out. well done

    Thanks man,
Mr. Vox, yes I heard it and it sounded good. Of course his teg is turboed but none the less it did indeed. Lol im trying to be careful, I had a shot in my shoulder wed. and ithasnt helped much. Guess this means surgery. Thanks for the concern though.lol. Needless to say I am going to miss IA this sunday. :x Shh yogi whom I got the car from who had a nice wagon traded it for a teg and just found out today he traded that for an ek hatch. So now he wants to trade me his exhaust for mine. We shall see its one of those wierd ones that has a tube that wraps around and goes back in. Not to sure about those. This Apexi is a 400 dollar exhaust though.
  • Hey man I live in Alabama and I have a white wagon. I love the progress. You have made one your wagon. I was reading where you pulled all the interior parts out and cleaned all of them, dude when I bought my wagon there was a lady living in it with a long hair dog. Me and a friend moved her and her dog and all her belongings in another car and came home. First thing I did was gut it. Soon as I find out how to shrink pics ill send you one. Nothing but love for the wagons, keep up the good work.

So I have some news I have a cousin overseas and I asked him to look for things for me, and well he came up with rear blinds. So yes at some point I will be going blind. Yep, they are the daisy ones so if anyone is interested pm me for details.

So a little update no pics yet, Got a few things donated to the cause. First a friend in dallas sent me a full teg console, it was from an automatic though. Im wondering if the black trim around the shifter can be swapped for the manual one with the boot. Second some may have seen that my old wagon came up for sale,Bam was actually wanting it too bad he couldnt get here to get it. Anyway I asked him about the motor since I had been wanting it back from since I sold it. Actually that was the main reason for buying that wagon when i did. So anyway I contacted him and the guy who bought it didnt want it so he said come get it. I now am the owner for the second time of sohc zc. It's in pieces and need a few things one a dizzy and some other stuff that I will get to later. Anyway I picked it up today had spun a bearing but as far as everything else it looks really good. I got it for a little project so not in any rush to put it in. It has been a good day.
  • TerminusVoxTerminusVox Senior Wagonist
Nice to hear some good news! Decent of the guy to let you have the motor even if it was non-running.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
Yea, now to just take time to rebuild it and get parts. People dont understand why I like sohc so much. I dont even know why really but, I have been wanting something I can mess around with and i guess you could say learn more and that was the right price plus it's a zc.Was looking at my car today and man does it need work. I think tha master cylinder is leaking.

Yeah dude, you do need some place to stash your stuff. Even a lawn shed or something to keep your tools, etc. out of sight and out of temptation's way. FYI, I pm'd those pics to you.

Heres what I did today(Happy New year to ya by the way) anyway, I somewhat got this installed. I need the manual bezel and an ashtray. I also ended up putting my wagon middle console back in to help make it work. I wont be useing the teg armrest because you have to cut off the very top of the ebrake hump on the wagon console and refuse to do that.lol. Oh well I do have the da armrest so its ok. I will get better pics tomorrow.Alos needs to be painted, just wanted to get it fitted.

Have about a month until she gets paint and body work done, I am also getting my rims, just wont have money for the tires at that time. Im hopeing it will be lowered before that though. Also gotta send some long over due money to someone on the forum.(thanks for being cool).
  • TerminusVoxTerminusVox Senior Wagonist
I see what you did there. I wish it all fit better which is why I'll be rocking the cheap cupholder for a while longer. I've seen the console / armrest combo I want but it's not common apparently.
    1.png
I like the one top / left with arm rest and flip up cup holders. This was from a 92-95 LX sedan. Also, apparently not made in blue. I've been told this won't work but... I"m a bit hard-headed.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
Yea I had that in my 95 hatch. Ive seen it in a wagon somewhere. The armrest is pretty much just like the 94-01 teg armrest. I think it works better cause your not trying to match it up with the wagon radio console. Also my hatch had blue interior so I know they come in blue. What do you think of the fitmit I have going on?
  • TerminusVoxTerminusVox Senior Wagonist
Yeah, since the meeting the wagon radio console is so expensive I'm willing to let that part go. I really like those EDM consoles but what I really want is an arm rest.

As far as fitment, I'm not wild about stacking the two console on top of each other. I can see why you did it but even if you solve what to do about the gap under the console (between console and floor) then you still have unfinished edges at the back between the seats. I will say that from the seated position (second pic) it looks good if you could just smooth out the back of it.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
I know what you are saying, I havent figured the edges out yet. If I could find another wagon center console I would be willing to cut and such to try and make the armrest fit on there as well. The gap I also am trying to figure out, it seems thats what most people try and work on. Thinking about finding a console from from somewhere and cutting the bottom off and attaching it and then paint. Id love an edm or even a usdm lower wagon console but if you can find them there really expensive.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
Well I finished getting it all back together today. I will paint it when it warms up. I think I can live with the way it is for now the back half isnt that noticeable so. I think I am going to try for a non smoker personal box, Yes I smoke but wont in this car. Well here ya go. Comments welcome,Thanks.

Well I dont know how much more im gonna get done for awhile. Turns out after all the PT and medication my shoulder isnt getting better. The PT actually tore it more so within the next few weeks will be having surgery. Looking at maybe 3-6 months of nothing. Im hoping a buddy is gonna take it to his house and install stuff for me and maybe take it to paint and body for me. Thats all for now.
  • TerminusVoxTerminusVox Senior Wagonist
Damn. I hope you're feeling better sooner than later.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
Thanks man.If the saints keep playing like this it sure wont help.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
Well Saints won but, still feel crappy. So trying to take care of little things here and there before I cant do anything I got my little sub box done and the speakers and amp wired up.Now just need a radio.lol. I seem to do things backwards but, this stuff was free so oh well. The sedan I was getting all the power mods out of had a full amp wiring kit and speakers so I took it all. Also got my LcA's. They are nothing special but gold. Here are some pics. The box wont get covered cause well its under the spare tire cover so. I used to build boxes at earmark car audio in Plano,Tx and when I would build friends boxes I build them out of that chip board they build houses from and they sound really good so. Anyway pics.

Well Monday I have surgery, so def. not doing anything myself. Hopefully this weekend my buddy will come get it and take it to his house to lower it. I have decided that paint and body is going to wait. I will have 2000 and am going to get all the little odds and ends taken care of and next year do the paint. So things that im getting. Wheels and tires, new rear outter lights, maybe edm, car stereo, alarm, exhaust work, new windshield, maybe a lip. Do the dpfi to mpfi, and get stuff for my zc.Thats all I can think of right now. I just figured Im going to have a guy clean the inside again and clay bar the outside and should look ok. They say I will be down for about 3 months so it will be warm when I get to do all this.lol
  • TerminusVoxTerminusVox Senior Wagonist
I hope everything goes well in surgery and beyond. I'll say a prayer.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
Thanks man. Hopefully I can get more done than im thinking.
  • Sooo your corner lights are off a saab??? anyone else catch
    this
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
