Well yesterday after work I finished the roof supports. Im so worn out from work cant even think about working on my own car right now.Really need to get my motor out and the z6 in but it seems to be more money. I work my ass off and still dont have money. Stupid bills. The more I work the more bills I cant pay? makes no sense. oh well will update when I do more.

So it has sat under a tree for about 2 months off and on and didnt really worry about it until the other day. It had red stains all over it, that would not come off. So I drove it to work today and here she is.

Looking good! I've still got black spots on top from the years in a back yard. I guess I could get out there and wash it old-school style... not that I could reach the top...

So ive not been able to do much, seems like if you get a ticket in Tn you get screwed. So haveing to do all kinds of stupid stuff(give them money) to keep my license. Anyway only thing is yesterday I helped a guy get his truck going and got these for payment. Not sure if I wanna cut my bumper to makeem fit. YES or NO?
    129.jpg

Also side note... side markers from a 1989 saab are the same as jdm honda's.. So if you can find a saab of that era in a junkyard and want side markers...HINT HINT.

You've got a sweet looking bumper. I'd be really hesitant to cut it.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist

The last one was supposed to be a surprise but I cant wait.
Does my car really suck? I get hardly any replies.
  • great progress, keep up the good work. looks like the rear carpet came out really good. Whole interior looks real good. I'd think twice about the fogs really like the bumper would not mess with it.
  • Mandalore88Mandalore88 Senior Wagonist
No it does not suck at all man. The body looks to be in better shape than most.

I think people are just spoiled and expect hellatight jdm -8 offset wide wheels and HIDs

Is that for a powered antenna?
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
Lol, no it's for a parking pole, I guess it could be used somehow for that.

Oh, okay, well now I guess I'll get to learn what a parking pole is. If it's what I think I've seen them before and wondered what they were for. Does it raise and lower?
