Well today started pulling the rear out to get ready for some goodies that are comming. I really wish I had done it all at once. I am also going to get the headliner down to fix that da map light right. I'll get more pics up soon when something new happens. I did go to the junkyard today to compare a crx middle console after reading on here that it can be done , but didnt confirm it and decided to try and use the sedan lower console and make it work til I have 200.00 extra for a real wagon one.lol

Wow, I read part of this thread earlier but must not have read all of it. You've been working hard just to get the parts. I just spent a week in Fayetteville, TN with my other-in-laws. Not exactly close to you but closer than usual (I saw the mountains in the background and it got me wondering.) I'd love to see all those parts you've gotten installed; especially the center console. I've been wishing for a change there myself. I'm hoping to get the whole thing; center console, lower console, middle piece AND armrest all from the same car which hopefully help avoid some of the fitment issues you're finding... but that's in the future because the budget's pretty much gone for now, lol.

Do you have the Integra maplight mod installed? If there was a pic I missed it. That's my fallback idea if the overhead console doesn't fly.

I dont have a pic, never really thought to take one..lol. By taking the headliner down my plan was to fix it(it had like a half inch gap which I figured out you have to cut to make it fit) also two roof supports are not holding the roof down so I gotta fix that. Its been alotta work but, it's ok cause I love my wagon.

lookin good man, i lost track of this build sorry.

I have done the same to my interior in my build thread.

For my carpet I pressure washed it so much it started to disintegrate. I ended up dying it black which held up well except for the driver foot well area.

Looking forward to seeing your ideas for exhaust.

Thanks 88, I just bring the stuff to work and use the hose. Putting that much pressure to these 20 plus year old carpets would scare me.lol. We finally got torches at work so I wont have to pay a muffler shop to put it on, of course I have to get the thing first. Im ready to drive the thing though. It's just not ready. I did get the rear defroster to work turns out it was the button, so I got all that put back together.

your carpet looks like it came out fine man. Mine was so bad I didn't care what happened to it.

I love it when the simplest answer fixes the problem with stuff like the defrost switch.

are you going to make your own custom piping from the exhaust manifold back?

Thanks, and I think ill have to. The exhaust across is 20 1/2 inches. Mine has a straight pipe back so ill have to do a turn towards the passanger side but should fit then I hope. Hell you can make anything work if you try hard enough.lol

Well today I pulled my tails and there getting bleached, cleaned my visors, and oh shite handles. Tommarrow gonna clean the rest of the hatch plastic and mount the da maplight right.I also put the front mud flaps on.(Now I need rears)lol. Hopefully get the dang steering wheel off so I can get my pods and put those in. Next is pulling the door panels cleaning those and the doors and starting on power mirrors, windows and locks. Then she'll get lowered,I wish i was where I wanted to be by IA but next year hopefully. More to come.

Finally got that steering wheel off, I had to cut the back cover piece to even get a puller on it. I feel bad but, im hunting a new one for him now. Also got my pods, man these things feel cheap. They were ripped off so no metal bracket and the holes are huge, any idea's how to mount em. Anyway heres a pic. I should start getting it back together soon.

Nice progress. Yes, there's a way to mount the pods without the brackets. Let me think where I saw that...

The pods I got had one mounting hole ripped off so I cut a piece of metal to fit in the recess in the back and used panel bond to stick the metal to the plastic. then drilled a new hole.

  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist

Theres stuff called peel n seal, in the roofing dept. at lowes. Works awesome and is pretty cheap. For 6 inch by 25 feet its 18 bucks. Going to do the roof with two layers and under the carpet and hatch with one maybe 2. I got lucky and sold my d15b6 and that helps to put in my z6 so having that done within the next few weeks.

Thanks Bam, it's actually from a sedan. As far as I could tell it looked just like a wagon bumper atleast the one I took off. Mybe im confused by extra bar? Thanks again though.
