    Nice job on the brakes!

thanx the EP3 rotors helped make some room in the rear to hopefully run some E-brake cables someday.
  • NJCIVICWAGON1NJCIVICWAGON1 Council Member
You should be able to use 90-93 DA Integra Ebrake cables with no problems.
  • turbo_tegturbo_teg Council Member
    2dr or 4dr cables?
  • NJCIVICWAGON1NJCIVICWAGON1 Council Member
    Either ones will do.

its been forever but i got a lil time to get the rear end LSD retrofit finished. i have pics and im gunna do a lil DIY on how i did mine. I dont work today hopefully :D (yes im a lazy american) so i should get some time to tinker with it and the 4dr. its 3:45 AM i should be leaving the house for work but i gotta wait till i hear from the boss dam him.

the lower core support is bent up and in a lil so i used a chunk of beam, 2 spacers, chain, 2 jacks, and few chunks of scrap.

    I used a 3" cut off wheel and a sawzall :D

Looks like you're making some good headway!
  • turbo_tegturbo_teg Council Member
yeah i was thinking of cutting it out infact with the new traction bar (has radiator mounts) it probubly will.
  • turbo_tegturbo_teg Council Member
got the LSD into the rear diff.

not gunna do a step by step but if u cant take it apart then dont even try.

keep things in order and be sure to save your old bearing cups u will have to re-use them
    378.jpg

on your LSD your gunna have to have a machine shop drill the holes out larger since u wont be using the left handed threads anymore. this will forever ruin the LSD so theres no going back.
    379.jpg

    install new bearings
    380.jpg

and your gunna have to grind a bit off the heads of the bolts holding the ring gear on or it will run into the diff case. and re-use the stock bearing cups me nor jaker have been able to get the cups. another idea would be to get a thicker shim if u can find or make one.

  • What diff are you using? I don't recall having to grind down the bolt heads. Then I did assemble the diff almost 2 years ago, so my memory might be failing me.

Sorry I think I missed what brake setup you went with up front?

    11'' rotors?
  • turbo_tegturbo_teg Council Member
teggy 10.3's someday i'd like to jump up to 11s tho.

I believe its an OBX i got it from another member like a year ago.
  • instead of having to grind the heads off the screws why dont you use Socket button head screws?

I don't think its the diameter of the head its the heighth. Socket head "heads" are usually taller than regular bolts.
  • turbo_tegturbo_teg Council Member
yeah i had to make them shorter becasue the flange that u bolt the ring gear to is thicker. the ring gear sits in the same position so thats all good. if i were anal i would had my buddy turn it down till it was as this as the stock diff but im sure this is gunna work fine.
  • STOKKEDDD!!! Now I need to boost mine.

  • Are you planning on converting to rwd or you just wanted a lsd in the rear?
  • turbo_tegturbo_teg Council Member
i may run her in RWD just depends. If i get the solid driveline made then i prolly wont be able to resist some drift action.

Nice build turbo_teg. Quick question, how much difference was it using the EP rear discs rather than any 90-00 civic or 90-01 integra rear discs? I tried looking for a link specific to the wagons but haven't come up with anything as of yet. I saw where you said it was a little bit easier and since I'm gonna be tackling my rear discs soon, anything that makes it easier will be appreciated, lol.

they are larger in diameter which helps get them farther from the trailing arm so u dont have as bad of a clearence issue. they are working but i need to get some DA E-brake cables and it will be finished.
  • turbo_tegturbo_teg Council Member
got my wheels back from my buddy. not the best quality job but they will do for now.
