I bought a cheap Shuttle RT4WD for the tranny only... Mine have some bearings issues.
I spent half a day trying to put the "new" tranny on my Shuttle... Hopeless
The clutch is different, It tooked me half a day to figure it out !
In fact the end of the tranny main shaft is different, basically :
Mine is a 89 one. So I ordered a 1988 Clutch disc (the mecanism is the same 88/89 because the diameter is the same)
Fortunatly, this disc is the cheaper ! Half the price of the 89 one !?
What a mess... Actualy the Shuttle is still waiting for his clutch disc
So I bough a very good 2000 CR-V (RD1) Taffeta White (Color very very rare here) !
I think the 1st Gen CR-V is the son of the Shuttle RT4WD: Civic (EK) Chassis 5 doors + RT4WD.
It's a very good daily, with a lot of cargo space and a descent air-con !!
(The OEM "BRA" came from USA, you can't find this kind of stuff in France )
The CR-V is gone
I bought an Accord "CB" very very cheap
About the Shuttle, I found a complete D16Z6 head (+intake +P28 +header...etc) to put on my D16A7 bottom end.
I took the head to the machine shop to test it, it was resurfaced a bit and I cleaned/changed everythings on it.
The valve cover:
Now I have to make the head swap and modify the wires to run the OBD1 P28
Love the way the Intake Mani came out. Red with red looks good. How come you don't have the Mesh rims on the wagon anymore?
My "custom" set of BBS RS is in my garage, most of the time I put the EK4 rims on the Shuttle to preserve the BBS, during winter I put them only for meetings.
I actually like the way the BBS RS look without the center caps.
Good looking wagon, great to see the progress and that it took longer than a few months. I've been sitting on my wagon for almost 2 years now, and so far all I've done is take it apart.
Really would like to get it running before next winter. Just seems a shame to make the S2K pull winter duty.

Translation: It's from a pair of Jeans, very strong, perfect for the task. And even if you can't clearly watch on the picture: It's fun ^^

Perfect amount of everything!

Those steelies are from a 1991 Renault Clio 16s (1st gen), we call them "Clio Cup" rims and they are common and cheap here.
The size is 15x7 and 4x100. My friend painted them in pink after the photoshoot
His other set of rims is from a Clio 16s to :
I swaped a D16A9 (DOHC) in this Shuttle
White wagon guy has wonderful taste in loud color selection.
