Some brandnew parts from Honda !

    22358_279459034777_704889777_4647327_2779019_n.jpg

This hose was a mess to change ! It comes from the air breather to the PCV valve. Mine was cut.

    22358_279459044777_704889777_4647328_5917905_n.jpg

But I broke the PCV valve when I pulled off the old hose... I need a new one :/

I've got a leak from the powered steering.
When I found it, I realised that the front bumper has to be remove.

    22358_279459059777_704889777_4647329_4449503_n.jpg

The hose was dead, it's a very little one, about 10cm. But I can't order it to Honda, they don't retail it alone.

    22358_279459079777_704889777_4647330_399551_n.jpg

    I used a 10mm diameter hose.
  • Since my front bumper was removed, I installed a HID kit...

    22358_279459094777_704889777_4647331_4104024_n.jpg

    It's a 8000K kit cheap from Ebay... I mean China :)

There is NO PLACE in the engine bay, so I attached the balasts here :

    22358_279459099777_704889777_4647332_1940954_n.jpg

    22358_279459119777_704889777_4647334_422855_n.jpg

They look like they are just laid, but they are attached.

In the engine bay, I could attached the relay.
Finally my set up is very "stealth" ^^

    Result 8000K :

    22358_279459014777_704889777_4647325_2534374_n.jpg

But the headlights are still yellow

    LOL !

    work it.
  • Be careful with that power steering hose. I don't know if the cooler is on the high or low pressure side of the system, but the high pressure side sees up to 1,200 psi, so special hoses are required. The low pressure (return) side is not a problem.
  • thanks for the advise, I think it's the high presure side...That's why the hose was dead. I'll order all the stuff from Honda Later, for the moment it works.

lets see them bbs's! i like what you've done so far.
  • There was snow, it's very rare in the South of the France... So I couldn't work on the car.

    22358_282677879777_704889777_4665040_7424266_n.jpg

After the snow, there was a lot of rain... And a lot of water on the passenger side floormate... AGAIN !!
I heard it's a very common problem, I found that the water came from the air blower.

So I started to remove the "cowl top" :

    22358_290179829777_704889777_4705148_6626766_n.jpg

There was A TON of mud here !! I cleaned every thing... And, can you see the black plastic cap on the left side (passenger side) ?
    This is the problem !

    22358_290179854777_704889777_4705151_5835411_n.jpg

    The seal is dead.

    22358_290179849777_704889777_4705150_618259_n.jpg

    Under the cap :

    22358_290179839777_704889777_4705149_4220578_n.jpg

This is where the fresh air is collected by the air blower...The water goes here and then on my passenger floormate !
You can't order the seal alone, you have to order the complte cap to your Honda Dealer : 61220-SH5-A00
Also there is the same kind of seal on the "cowl top assy", it was weak to, you can order it to Honda : 61215-SH5-300
  • Too bad, 61220-SH5-A00 is discontuned... I have to make a new seal with silicon or something. :D

You may even be able to find some sort of 'all-weather' seal at a hardware store. Do you have Lowe's, Home Depot or something similar there?
  • Ho yes, I'll check, Thanks
  • Marc_EE9Marc_EE9 Senior Wagonist
good stuff man, i like what I see 8)
  • good info...
    should go along with

    possible water hazards...
    or something...

  • I've got a problem with my HID convertion kit... ! :(
    It's a H4 kit, only "low" beam.
It empties the battery, the headlights always lights... When the Key is turned off.
It wasn't like this in the begening... I checked everything, grounds are perfects, but I noticed that there is always 12v on the headlights connectors, key turned off, on, light switch turned off or on... I don't understand !? Maybe only the Amp changes ?
I retry with the standard H4 bulbs, everything works fine... But there is always 12v on the connector !!

Anyone could help me ? Thanks

bad relay on the hid kit.. it takes the switched 12v source from the oem wiring and then goes thru your hid relay and outputs to the hid ballast.. if you unplug the connector from the oem headlight plug do the hid shut off?
  • Yes, it shuts off as soon as I unplugg it.
  • 17358_311212939777_704889777_4812935_7650952_n.jpg

    EK4x4 !! :D

good stuff you got going on with this wagon.

Sorry to hear about your HID problem. They look good

What yellow High bulbs are you using?
  • Thanks, I'm waiting for my coilovers :/
The yellow high bulbs are OEM on my French Shuttle. There is a kind of "yellow hub" inside the frontlight, in fact the bulb is white.
  • WagonWagon Wagonist
    well dang, thats pretty cool!

    OEM is always best!
  • Finally ...

    17358_313003624777_704889777_4821553_331129_n.jpg

A friend of mine sell products from Taiwan, now he's got his own brand : "Zenky Racing".
    Nice coil overs.

But, Before, I have a lot of stuff to change on the car :

    17358_313003634777_704889777_4821554_6293797_n.jpg

Changing the bearings is a mess...lol

I clean every things, the calipers were very very dirty, now they are waiting for the paint :

    17358_313003644777_704889777_4821555_4119504_n.jpg
  • WagonWagon Wagonist
geeze man thats some great lookin stuff you got there!!

can't wait to see it all on.

What color you spraying the calipers?
  • Red ! Yes I know... But All my cars have red calipers.

    17358_314761349777_704889777_4828871_6121032_n.jpg

It's very difficult to change the front bearings, and I've got a problem.
Old bearings mades some noise, but they didn't shake, The new ones don't make noise (I don't run the car, only when I turn the hub by hand) BUT the hub can "shake" a little, it's crazy because they are brandnew...
