  • Nope. You're thinking of my buddy Johnny(JG90CRXSi). He had the mint black CRX, but it was totaled by a cop car. He's working on another CRX now. My CRX is red and is currently sleeping until I find a new suspension setup.

You talking about old dirty bastard Benny. Yeah, he's an og EF head. Jay is 91awd on these forums and I see him and his family on a regular basis. The man can cook bbq like no other!

We may do a wagon road trip sometime, but I dunno when. Jay is doing repairs and upgrades on all his rides so when he's ready I'll be ready.

nice. what spring rates did you get?
  • ThaClutcHThaClutcH Senior Wagonist
    So Baller!!! Haha.
  • JesseCRXJesseCRX Council Member
I haven't put them on the car, but I asked Al at PIC for the best rates for daily driving. I believe they are the 8K/6K setup. He said it's a good compromise between comfort and weekend event driving.

And I wouldn't consider this setup to be baller at all hehe... For $750 shipped I'd say it's pretty low priced. Especially for a setup that is tailor made for the EF/ED chassis.
  • ThaClutcHThaClutcH Senior Wagonist
After I said that I went to go look it up. Haha. I like the way they look. I'm thinking whenever my set of D2s crap out I might get the adjustable ones from PIC, but who knows.

The local Japanese Arcade had another car meet, and it was bad ass. So many nice cars. No wagons in sight except for mine, and only saw one CRX and one EF hatch...both were beat to shit. Forget the whales! Save the ED/EF's!

Had gone bike riding earlier in the day and swung by around 8pm..stayed til 1am. Found some shots that show the foglight install.

Getting some fresh tires next week along with a new windshield if I am lucky. If all pans out well, I'll be taking both my rex and the Wagon to the meet for a photoshoot.

    Spoiler??

Oh man, I dunno. It'd have to be something sexy and low profile. I been eyeballing the spoilers off of the Element and CRV lately.

It was really nice out today so I thought I would take advantage and snap some photos of my ladies together.

One thing is for sure, I have to get a new lip for the CRX. The Wagon front end just look so much nicer imo, and if the rex had a lip to compliment the one on the wagon I'd be set!

I just finished adjusting the lowering height on the CRX as well. I didn't wanna slam it too low, so I think this height is just right.

wow, still looks so good and clean.

i can't wait to get my hatch back on the road.

I had put the Prelude Si swirlies on there for 2 weeks and I couldn't bare it! The car actually sat lower and my mudflaps were scraping all over the place!

Had to put my jordans back on. Big difference.

Also I was going to add the D15B 3Stage VTEC motor to the wagon but I decided to stay stock since the motor in there is running so well with no problems as of yet.

The CRX is in dire need of a new motor. It's running like poo, and has gremlins galore! Just ordered the replacement parts of the motor(D15Z1 parst work on the D15B)so come early spring it's gonna be ON!

As for the wagon, I am on the hunt for EDM rear interior. No luck yet though.

Jesse your wagon is nearly iconic, what rims are those anyways?
  • hey jesse this is dan the guy from joes pub with the white 240sx!

love your cars bro i got myself a wagon too now :) Lets get the ef meet going!

Jesse your wagon is nearly iconic, what rims are those anyways?

    I get asked that alot...

The rims are(to my knowledge)OEM Civic "accessory" wheels...meaning they didn't come stock on any particular model here in the states, but could be ordered from the honda catalog.

They came stock on the UK Civic Jordan, which is why these are called "Jordans"

Nothing special about the wheels other than them being OEM heavy Enkeis. They are simple in design and super easy to clean, and that's all I care about.
Picked them up from a bud who worked at Honda, and found a set in the back inventory. Customer never came to pick them up, so he passed the savings onto me.

By the way, my hood is still dinged to hell from hail damage, so when people ask "Hey man, your hood is messed up...you gonna fix it?" I tell them that it's a golfball dimple mod for aerodynamics. makes me that much faster!! lol!

Dan the man with the master plan! Yeah, can't wait for the Houston EF meet on May 8th.
Hope a few more wagons show up from the surrounding areas!

Glad you picked up a wagon too. Take care of her, man. These fat girls are getting harder and harder to maintain nowadays.

I know at least the wheels were factory optional for the EM1. I used to have a brochure when I had mine.

What fog lights are those? Curious what the frame is. Looks awesome!

The fogs are EF9 OEMs, with custom mounting. I didn't have any brackets so it took some creativity to make them work. Also using the stock Accord wiring harness for the fogs as well(relay, switch, etc).

What "frame" are you talking about though?
  • CharbCharb Administrator
My eyes suck. So maybe it's not there. But it looks to me like there's a liner or 'frame' between the bumper (where you cut) and the lens.

 what lip is that!!?? please please please get me a part# if it's a oem.
