Anyone know which mounts sit the engine higher, Innovative or Hasport? I'm going to change from my Avid Racing so I can have more ground clearance for the transmission and oil pan. Then combine that with a skidplate. :) Any input is appreciated!

Bought some used billet Innovative mounts off Ebay for less than the steel ones new! They can't get here soon enough!
  • bro I LOVE this wagon it has gone some some different looks and cant figure out which one I like the best but keep up the good work...

Thanks a lot man! I really appreciate it! Tore out my old sagging cloth liner I installed years back. I'm going to redo it eventually with something better. :)

    Before it was sagging.

Thinking of special ordering some bronze tint, I got a quote for the order and tint done for $150. Hmmmm.
  • So that's what it should look like? Here I thought mine was that color because of all the cigarette smoke!
Good looking wagon. I like the wheels.

Thanks man! I hate how lousy the liners can be in most of these cars! lol

Here's a photoshop my roommate threw together of the ideas swirlin' in my head!

LS with 30k miles on the rebuild, dented ebay header, full 2.5 exhaust/gutted cat, and an intake. Other than that it's just a short shifter, Stage 2 clutch and 7lb flywheel.

    Yeah, I was excited. lol

I'm not sure why my third run is second on that list. But my last run was 131/119.
  • Love the wagon man. Major props.
  • Build is looking good.

How did the innovative mounts work out?I know Woody ran the Hasport mounts on his sohc for more clearance when he had his ef hatch.

I use my roof rack for more than stickers! :p I ordered LCAs, rear camber kit, and a front camber kit. The damn trans mount for those Innovative mounts is a hydro mount, so I'm going to get another set and sell those. While I'm at it I might go ahead and put a GSR 4th in my car since it's longer and I'll practically have the trans out. Not to mention the diff needs to be shimmed to cut down on some whining.

OH! And today is 4 years to the date I've owned the wagon! Happy wagoversary!
  • Definitely one of my favorite wagons not to mention one of the cleanest.

P.s. Give me your steering wheel :P

    True! lol

Man, this thing has come in damn handy.

Saw this last night at dinner:

    428.jpg

Finally found some of the missing hardware to get a bunch of interior pieces back in. I put a total of 16 trim parts in today. lol

    429.jpg

I also changed my shift knob back to the first gen DA knob.

Now I just need to wash it and vacuum it. 8)

Rev I see u got the same lca camber kit setup I did from eBay... watch out lca are not great.. can't replace the bushings
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
Yea, didn't look like it when I was looking them over. I have 90-91 Si LCAs right now, so I can always run those if I need to. Thanks for the heads up though man!
  • PavementwagoPavementwago Senior Wagonist
No problem ill be looking for new ones real soon
  • slo88crxslo88crx Senior Wagonist
Yea those lcas suck I has them on my wagon when I bought it and the bushings are already worn bad. Stay away from the blox's ones too they did the same thing on my brothers car!
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
I got quoted $560 to install and charge an AC system, that's assuming I can find all the AC parts I need. Insane!
  • $560? Ouch! I'm glad my family has alot of friends that work on cars, or I probably wouldn't have A/C lol
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
I got another quote for $265 though. ;)
