Nice progress.... I know why it seemed less productive!!
I don't see beer in any of those pictures! =P
Haha, im underage at the moment, we normally get things going later on the week because we all have work and I have classes and work at the same time :?
Alright, lets do a super catch up to the Wagon's status right meow since the site went down and back in time and iI'm lazy.
Ended up having to tow the Wagon to my friend Justin's house because I honestly think the Wagon would not have gotten done otherwise. Progress was at such a slow halt I was getting frustrated beyond belief. Only challenge was that the Wagon was rollable in the rear only. Justin had an idea to use ratcheting tie downs, some 2X4's, and a dolly to get the Wagon onto the flatbed and it Worked!
These are pictures of the new engine. New pistons, piston rings, bored 0.020 over, polished DX crank, new main bearings, hot tanked the block, disassembled the head for new valve seals, and cleaned off the head. EVERY part is brand new on this engine!
Justin reading up on assembling the engine
Taping off the engine to paint silver
All together and looking sick nasty!
Prepping/painting the bay! So close to done! Making sure to get all the nooks and crannies!
Bay painted Satin Silver Metallic (Wagon will match soon hopefully), engine and suspension in, and tucking light wiring and dash fusebox.
Getting inside all tidied up.
And some more shots of the suspension setup and disk conversions!
And we're done folks. 4 long months later the Wagon is "done." Sike! The stock head bolts are too long and were bottoming out in the block before they could clamp the head and block together. Oil/some cooland is leaking out above the engine code on the block. I ordered ARP head studs, a 75.5mm Bisimoto head gasket, A thermo Bisimoto intake manifold gasket. And to get rid of the ungodly amount o shifter play, I sent my linkage to RCAutoworks to get a no slop joint welded in, a Fastline Performance extended shifter and new bushings, boots, etc...
Anyways, this is the Wagon in pretty much done mode. Check it out!
Alright, I know I suck at keeping up with my build thread, but hereare updates.
Installed a set of PIC Performance coilovers and they feel amazing! 8k front/6k rear. Only thing is that you really feel a bump when you hit it.
Also put on a Gen 1 ntegra front lip.
And most recently my friend Josh hooked me up with a D16Y8 intake manifold and B18B throttle body. I bored out the intake from 56mm to
60mm at my friend Justins house who helped me with the swap and then he also made a custom throttle cable bracket to get it lined up properly.
man its looking good Gr33k..... still my favorite mod so far has got to be them front lights ..... looks great lowered or stock ride height ...
hows the response with that throttle body and y8 intake .... can you tell the difference ..???
There is a definite improvement in throttle response and top end power. I just need to get a real intake instead
of this stock tube and air box. I was thinking of a short ram and on track nights rigging up some sort of a ram-air setup.
And the fog lights are down at the moment. I think I need to get a thicker gauge wire for it because the I
saw that the wire had melted through the loom I was using, but I believe that the insulation was still there.

This is what I used. $10 a can at autozone but sure worth it! So much better than the duplicolor garbage I used last time.

I used one for the front and one for the rear. I think I'm going to use three for the underside.
I really appreciate it! We are all trying to take our time so it really turns out great. Too bad the outside wont look as good as under the hood.
Hopefully this weekend i'll be picking up my next canvas

So there you have it folks! Thanks for reading!
Everything about that engine bay is killer!! Great work man.
Thank you. Going to get some pictures of the parts laying around my room up tomorrow hopefully...
I still like the fog light project best ... !
Thank you very much! It was a real PITA, but we all got there! Fog lights have to be one of my favorite mods too because they are so rare!

Nice wagon BTW!
No idea. I bought it from a guy who had it on a RT Wagon.
Thats a bit offensive leaving crap like that on peoples' cars, dont you think?
Makes me feel bad Ive done this before. I did get the cars for cheap tho
Yea, and I looked around and mine was the only one with it under my wiper.
See more on Know Your Meme
Yea, I know it wasn't anything personal though. Whatever works.
