I love those car washes. I use to take my 6 and my wagon all the time. Had plenty of other car washes closer to me but I didn't mind the extra drive to get to that specific car wash. lol

This is the first time I have used it. I couldnt do it by hand today, too cold for me.
lmao what kind of wash is that? it looks awesome!
Its at a place called Washmore and its the TRrifoam selection.
Oh, I saw another Civic Wagon today after I pulled out of campus today. It was an 86 or 87 model, but the same color blue as mine. I slowed down and he got next to me and we gave eachother a thumbs up. It was cool.

Haha! I felt the same way. I saw a grey one today at my campus, but the clear coat looked haggard.
So I have come to the realization I'm horrible at keeping up with a build thread, but anyways here are some worth the wait updates!
I had purchased a set of OEM JDM RTI fogs and bumper support from a seller located in Japan. When it arrived I was surprised how flimsy the bumper support was compared to the USDM one. Seeing this I decided to (with the help of my girlfriends dad and her cousin) fabricate someting in order to mate the JDM fogs and USDM bumper together. We had to cut the mounting brackets off the JDM support and bolt them to the USDM one because the holes would not line up. We made them into sliding brackets so the height could be adjusted for the fogs. Anyways after a couple days they were finally mounted. They would have been done sooner if work and school weren't going on.
Looks great so far man! A front lip, and some clear corners, and this thing will be looking perfect.
I have been thinking about a lip for a while now. Something that matches the style of the bumper. I just didn't know if it would look okay with stock height? And clear corners sound like a great idea!
Check out almostnickless's thread, we put a 92-96 prelude front lip on his. Looks great being OEM, and it's much easier to find then the first gen Teg lips.

First night we got everything connected to the engine disconnected from it to make tomorrow easy because we got a later start than we would have liked.
Second night, the motor was pulled out. Removed fenders, headlights, front bumper, corner lights, and started getting junk out of the engine bay and harnesses separated.
Goodbye DPFI 92 HP. Enjoyed the gas mileage, but not the lack of power!
Third night, we pulled passenger and driver side harnesses out of the bay and into the passenger compartment. Took out the whole subframe with everything attached, crossmember, dash, steering wheel, and front suspension. Then we de-gunked the engine bay and front wheel wells.
I am going to try and actually keep updates coming in throughout the build now. haha
Alright, not much to report tonight. Cleaned the block up, got the rear sub-frame painted, and undercoated the wheel wells. Tomorrow I hope is more productive!
Justin working on getting the block clean. This is after scrubbing it down for a good 30 minutes!
My brother Artemus putting the last coat onto the subframe for the rear. Low gloss Rustoleum turned out real nice!
And a before/after of the rear and just an after of the front undercoating

Here is the outline for cutting
Rough cut
Mock up of the lights
Mr. Drury making the holes smooth
Here they are mounted up and ready to be put on!
Thank you, I found them on eBay and next paycheck they were mine! They make a heck of a difference at night too!
Here they are in action!
Here are some pictures showing the rust repair I had done, OEM FWD mudflaps, side markers and the wicked scenery!
and that gif is priceless
I appreciate it, and thanks for the tutorial on the side markers! They came out great!
U 3 keep your lips to yourselves ....
GrƎƎk it looks awesome ....

Thanks! I have been through a lot to get the interior where it is now. I love the MR5's you have for yours!

I really appreciate it, and I do have the basket. Its in the storage unit right now just sitting.
I am loving the rear carpet and those Rti lights look really good too.
I'll be checking in on this build from time to time. Excellent work with the bumper paint too.
I am on the hunt for one as of now! Hopefully I can get one soon, they seem hard to find.
Thank you for the compliments! Your Wagon is one of my favorites! Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the advice! I actually just bought one on eBay! I like how it goes up in the middle and down on the sides.
Here is the Z6 Vtec head
eBay header
NGK Iridium IX plugs, NGK wires, Denso O2 sensor
Z6 Intake manifold, injectors, throttle body, distributor, P28 manual ECU
I have a cable Si transmission and complete engine harness lined up, OEM gaskets top to bottom coming in tomorrow.
I just need to get a clutch kit, head bolts, new bearings (once the block gets taken apart). I think that might be everything.....
