Well, since we're about to live in this thing for 10 days, I thought I'd add some things
I intend to hide two group 31 stud-tops back here. In this view you can see the back of the hatch and gas door releases. The wire hanging down in the midground is for the OE rear dome light.
guess i should drain the fishbowls  I just redid my car's taillight gaskets, now it's time for these
Get ready for this...here's a part of our cars that I've never seen (gasp!) I meant to take all of this out earlier for weight reduction, just never did...
I lifted this idea from judebert. I just think it'll be cool to pull into a campsite, pop open the fuel door, and plug in
Still very much in the mockup stages- I have to ponder awhile with a cold one sometimes to await inspiration. I'm also going to rewire the trailer lights to add the hatch lights. So far only the corner tail/stop/turn lights work.
this has got to be the coolest thing i have ever seen. my jaw dropped while going threw this thread. im amazed on the creativity. keep up the good. work. whats next after you finalize the plug in?
Let's see..
Because it's something I enjoy, I'll slash the labor rate to $40/hr.
I worked on this one every spare minute for about 3 months, I mean every night and all weekend. Conservatively I'd say 40 hrs./wk.
A little math,,, carry the 3... about 20 grand. just labor.
But for forum members, and since the design work is mostly done...
I'll do the next one for $30,000
Yea when you think about having to find the wagon, get the material, do the work, paint, blah, blah, blah, it would take 10 to 15k to build one of these.
The ultimate wago-camper would be b-pillarless on one side with suicide door on the rear so the doors open out kinda like a cupboard. Then have an awning coming out from the EDM roof rack. 8)
Yeah, and besides that there's an even greater amount of work involved in making the wagon into a capable tow vehicle. I feel very comfortable with it- so much so that I can sleep while pebbles drives!

Man Ur Craftsmanship is just that good & I bet Pebbles drives safely when her cave man is sleeping back n Bedrock....
I still have another shell, ready for a camper build...anyone?
Bam,
if I had my wagon on the road I would take you up on the offer just need the DA rear suspension to lift it up like i wanna do Scrappy then tuck these Super Swampers under the Flares ... MmmHmm sounds like a plan 2 me..

I already cut it in half to use as a leader for the cord. Do you need one?
I talked to you, I was the skinny guy saying I followed your build thread.
It was nuts to see it in person, I never thought i'd see it, then I got there and seen a wagon, then was like wait, I KNOW THIS CAR
It sure is epic in person, isn't it? 8)
I have the perfect shell to build another from...anyone?
awesome
says it all...

In other words, NO.
New benchmark set Bam, go!
B-pillarless with both doors welded together to open gullwing style and double as an awning- now that's where it's at!
Man Its do~able.... you have all the tools Bam all you need is this style of a hinge....
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GULLWING-Diablo-Vertical-Scissor-Lambo-Door-Kit-Custom-/260386827335?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3ca043ac47
and ur setting pretty ....
but then there gonna ask where is your bathroom with the walk n shower and dual vanity sinks to powder there noses...
lol this is nuts.
I am hoping my A6 w/JRSC on an S.I. Trans will be strong enough to tow it.
I still have another shell, ready for a camper build...anyone?
I am going to weld my frame in lower, so the bed doesn't mess with the door panels.. Plus, a little more head room..
I have a CRX shell too, I was considering building both, but the wagon just seems to be the better way to go..

This is where I see some difficulty... You got those lines perfect.
