Steel Wooled the Stock Wheels... silver became black... and under the black is the steel. So my wheels look flat black now
    (for the most part)

***Any tips or technique for painting the wheels and hood?

    ***Flat black or High Gloss?

    ***How many coats is recommended?

Ive just started to get dirty working on my car... and am enjoying it.

Friend gave me some "15 hub caps, made them fit the 14's...
  • recovered my headliner and swapped in the wink mirror from my totalled CRX. had a friend sandblast and spray my mesh wheels silver and waiting for them to get clear coated and have some tires mounted up. should have it rolling on new shoes, raised up a little bit and looking a little nicer inside (going to mess with the CRX interior tomorrow) by the end of the weekend :)
  • wow...so my plans didn't go as anticipated. instead of working in the interior, i decided i'd swap my C&R radiator and DC header from the crx...the fan on the radiator didn't fit like it did in the CRX (bottom edge was getting pinched a little and we had to file down some of the inside of the fan and cut some of the excess from the mounting points for the fan. it was a very long drawn out process, but in the end i've got a nicer radiator and i got a chance to flush my coolant

tomorrow, change the oil, raise the front suspension and put the crx front strut bar on. wheels should be ready by tuesday

well it wasent really today it was over a 3 day period. auto trans second gear took a shit so i did a manual swap on the rt with in the last few days. little trial and error... but i got it going again..i think what im going to do with the tranny mount is cut it shorter and bolt it back to gether.... so that the mount fits in right thats really the only left to do... but it drives and shift great.

I've been screwing around with my suspension set up for the past two days. I bought some Skunk2 Sport Springs and I installed them on stock front shocks and EF hatch rear shocks, it was way too bouncy so I took the rear out and replaced it with EF hatch OEM springs on my OEM Wagon shocks, it's much more comfortable in the rear but the front is still too bouncy. Now I got some better EG rear shocks to put my Skunk2 rear springs on but I'm getting tired of swapping the suspension in and out! Anyone else running the Skunk2 springs? Any comments on those?

Well nothing today, but I did wash it on Saturday in 105 degree heat and detailed the inside of it in the cool shade of my garage. That night I changed the driver side brake line and bleed the system, I was to tired and hot to change the passenger side," I'll save that one for another post".

In the near future I will be installing a coilover set up that I'm saving for now.
