Looks real good, what's the total cost you spent on materials so far? Love the wing too!
I think I have about 7-800 dollars into the whole build.I have the basic tools and its little money here and their but its just relaxing to me. I can't explain it I work in a desk job all day and a 100% mental, when I get home I'm able to zone out and just work with my hands and create... I wish I could do this for a living but I can't afford to start at the bottom of a new career.
Started my battery relocation today... I don't know what I'm doing haha. I'm learning as I go but here's some pics
I drilled holes in the bottom so it would look cleaner when I installed it and bolted it down
heres the fuse that came with the kit I thought it was a good idea never know what might happen. I just wanted to over engineer it JIC.
the cord looks small but its a 6 gauge then this goes to the power block and from there out to the fuse box and starter will be 8 gauge NEVER GO SMALLER THAN STOCK (stock is 8) you don't want to risk damage, fire or your life.
Ill post up some more pics when I get home
that spoiler looks fkn amazing!!! im loving this build.. true baller on a budget build right here!!keep up the work man, def one of my favorite builds on here!
Got my wheel in today!!!! I really wanted one of the new ones with the black aluminum but there wanting 400 dollars for one... Ill pass haha. I found this one on ebay and won it for 50 dollars its used with a couple nicks but no biggie.
Here's my horn button
its a "vintage" nardi button but I really don't think it's old just a reproduction I hate the new logo
Here's my problem I've never put one of these together I don't know if I'm missing the horn button holder retainer or what? There's just a space around the button
Great job man. Its amazing how this car looks now compared to how it looked when you picked it up. Duckbill turned out really good too. How are you going to mount it?
Thanks bud I ordered it and a few other things, I haven't got to work on the car in about 2 weeks due to work, promotion testing and selling my truck but I hope to have some time this weekend to finish up the wire tuck and start painting the other side of the car. Man once I sell my truck ill have some serious cash to throw at the wagon. I found my rims the other day going to do something a little diffrent I can't wait!!!

Duck bill was molded to a extra stock wing I had laying around so she bolts up like factory
Started my battery relocation today... I don't know what I'm doing haha. I'm learning as I go but here's some pics
Probably too late at this point but E30 BMW 3-series (and some other models I think) have the batteries in the trunk and people frequently pull the battery cables out of them to do battery relocations.
Sorry i havent posted much and the build has slowed wayyy down but SOLD MY TRUCK TODAY!!!!! so now I have about 4k to throw at the wagon. I'm going to spend a out 3k this weekend in parts. epic build engage
just finished all six pages, great build paint looks great for a rattle job!!!!! makes my wagon look like dog crap lol. this makes me want to keep my wagon but i just dont have anymore monies
So I got about a week befor the big order but I did do one project today.
Roof and pillars wrapped in suede
Half off!! I bought 10 yards at 6 bucks a yard
Roof super easy
These are my a-pillar covers i wanted to cover these because i coulndt clean that black shit off of there. Other trim pieces where hard to do I wouldn't recommend it to the untrained!!
Im not going to post a how to on this because I don't want you to try it and I don't want u to copy me either
Looks super clean!!! How is the steering wheel coming along?
Steering wheel is restoration is done. I ordered a horn button holder and it doesn't hold the horn so I'm a little pissed about that. I need to order my momo steering hub and adapter. That will be ordered next week and Ill do a 3000 dollar order hold on man. It's so tough on me I have a excel spread sheet made with the prices and links lmao go intel nerd.

here you can see the wheel had some pitting
after some light sanding and taping I painted it
all done
Just waiting on my adapter and horn button

Heres the wiper motor all tucked unde and the wires ran through the fender
Wire tab was useless drilled out and removed
Didnt have the hood release wire to ziptie to so here's my solution 3/4 cable clamps
I used 5 of them you get the idea
I ran outta wire for the tuck so im done for the night, but the battery is tucked in the back.
