I have a Honda story I want to share...
A very good friend of mine, I'll say.. basically "abandoned" this car in my yard, mid "project".. A little over a year ago.
(Still searching for a picture of the state in which he left it, but who wants to take one of those...)
I grew extremely tired of looking at it.. and seeing as he would likely never touch it again, I convinced him to sign the title over to me, in trade for the work. I am ALWAYS down to contribute to his again, "projects".
Last week I decided to throw it back together, and chuck it up in the yard with a FOR SALE sign on it to clear some space and grab some cash..
After having 2 different guys come and look at it, only to low ball the WAZZOO out of me.. Knowing that my swap alone was worth more than their offers combined.. :x I decided to start to spruce up some of my old work.
Unfortunately for people that come to my house and see the jalopy sitting in the driveway. Whatever bug that it had, bit me, and now I kinda like the stupid thing... Becuase I have always wanted an air cooled VW or Rat Rod or Patina style something! But Honda has HAD me stuck.. and sooo I thought "what better than a Honda with a little patina?" Let alone a FREE one!

So I actually ended up building a new wiring harness
finalized the wire tuck,
tapped the block,
machine larger holes in motor mounts for heavier bolts,
I had caught a wild hare I guess, and the rest is history.
I used the left over paint from my White CRX
Even painted the AC plumbing, brake lines, shock tops, and hardware.. quick and dirty.
Because I just want to have fun with this one... skip to the fun part. 8) Plus my friend's lazy ass painted everything like 5 different times already.
LIKE!! lol I was thinking white walls and red steelies with rings... but we'll just have to see.
as for the rest of it... not my thing but i oddly enjoy the pictures... in for more!
I'm just excited to have gotten my first FREE car..
Did some work on the car today...
Rewired Subs
Rewired all 4 speakers
Rewired entire headunit harness and Honda Factory radio harness lol
Laid New power cable and ground cable for trunk mounted battery.
Thinking I'll continue this project tomorrow...
and build a custom injector harness (real nice and purdy like)
Maybe do some wheel shoppin'.. :roll:

I had a buddy over to help me build that custom injector harness.. (which I need more pictures of really...)
cool with me though because he is a Engineer at MOTEC/ Mooresville, right here in Race City, USA. The NASCAR capital. HAHA
He also helped me to tuck a few more wires
tuck the relays for the cooling fan
add and tuck some more grounds
He also let me borrow his NIKON...
While I was in the middle of raising the white CRX back up to it's normal ride height...

even managed to find enough time to get some work done on the CRX race car...
