A friend of mine and his girlfriend recently bought a Shuttle Pro that they lowered and added wheels etc and the decided the mudflaps didn't belong on their car. Me being the nice bloke told them I could trade some parts from my garage for their flaps.
They are in fantastic condition as the car they came off has only done 130,000kms. I proceeded to paint the Honda logo white and then put them on my wagon. It is nice finally having rear flaps and front ones that aren't mangled (Y)
Interesting hearing the different ideas and opinions on the 2 tone, personally I love it. I already rock black bumpers and don't get off on colour matched bumpers so its not hugely different having the two tone.
So the decision was made. It's time to part ways with my Shuttle. It is sold and just waiting for the new owner to drive down the Island to pick her up and take her to her new home.
I have sold it to a friend that has wanted it for a while now, he and his father love DOHC ZC's and his father has built some angry little motors. I am confident she will be taken to the next level in his ownership.
It's been a fun ride but it is just time to move on...
The Shuttle is still sitting in my garage, deal fell through......Took her for a spirited drive the other day and haven't re-advertised it for sale again yet.
If you like that green, paint the whole car, I just did a pain job on a cbr 954 and the guy had me use a gm color, called "synergy green" I polished the frame and wheels were half polished half painted. it's the green metallic that comes in the z28 that would good be a close match to tht photo swap color, but I'm not a green guy, I only like sticky green that you inhale and money. Wait on second thought. Maybe I like green hahah good thread, you stayed motivate and took every chance to push on. Even using free labor. Your daughter. Too cute. Bump for a fresh thread.
Bought 25mm bolt on wheel spacers this week, I love what it has done. It is subtle and not noticeable unless you compare it to a before pic. Sorry about the boring driveway pics but its better than no pics I guess.
I always say I want to sell etc but really I love my wagon!
here is the color of the plastics for that motorcycle i was talking about. as a comparison to that green wagon you had photoshopped, the color is a gm paint on the 2013 z28 synergy green. here are some photos of the job, with the color so you can get an idea if you like the color.[IMG][/img]
And that folks is the end of that chapter of my life. She has been sold to a young man full of enthusiasm that may potentially take her to another level (or ruin it completely).
