    Pmed...Thanks
  • Found a passenger side mirror and corner lights! FINALLY.

also put my "new" bumper filler panel in
you (thanks to BOBBOY for getting it to me)

    NEXT UP:
    Replace Driverside fender
Finish interior aka: seats/console/headliner/sub/steering wheel etc
    Tint
    Full header back exhaust
    Body work/paint!

    Almost there!
  • I guess a picture would help... haha

  • Lookin' better everyday. So when are we kickin' it?
  • Text incoming!
  • Just picked up a steering wheel out of a 90 accord, took the cruise control buttons off since, well, I don't have cc..
Also picked up a 90steering cluster cover. There's a gap at the top of my cluster for now, until i swap clusters as well.
There's a newer CRV in the yard, I think ill pull its cluster and do a test fit, since the guys who own the yard are chill about that sorta thing.

    ANYWAY, onto the pics

I read a few threads where people said the prelude and accord steering wheels are closer to the wiper and turn signal levers. This is true. So sausage fingers beware. Luckily I could be a ladies hand model haha. But im still planning on putting in some sort of spacer.

Also, I found and "almost" complete d16z6 with harness and ecu For 375.
Only things not included are the alternator and tranny.

    That's my latest news :)
  • So 2days ago i decided to experiment with paint. So I did my hood roof and hatch in rustoleum satin black. Still need to wetsand and polish but ill do all that once I paint the sides gloss white.

Yesterday I put on the exhaust, which sits so much higher, hence, no more scraping. Its a little raspy at high rpms but I don't rod on it so its all good. Not to loud, but definitely a deeper better tone. Also put a 4-2-1 header on as well. The acceleration is much smoother now as well. Seems like it flows alot better. Maybe its just me.

Right now im sitting at 27" at the bottom of my doorhandle. Its an alright height I think.

Anyhow here are the pics. Feedback welcomed :)
Also im doing the mini swap soon!

I like it. What kind of exhaust is it? header as well?
  • Thanks man!

Ebay header modded and 2 1/4" pipe with resonator and turboflow muffler

I like the black, corner lights, car looking good. no hurry on the mud flaps. hope to see you soon.
  • As i'm doing the mpfi swap right now (well, its done with the bugs still needing to be worked out) Be 100% sure you have everything. Inspect everything you can before you tear your car apart. Any used part is a mystery unless you've seen it running. The worst thing is to get it wired but it runs like garbage because you have bad sensors, your dizzy isnt working right, stuff like that.

Your wagon is still looking sharp bro! Just i don't want you to go thru what i'm going thru right now.

What you mean modded? what didnt line up right? How does it sound?
  • Oh sorry, by "modded" I mean, it was shortened at the base of the "4" part of the 4-2-1 by about 1.5"
In doing so the header sits up higher and there is no sag/less chance of scraping.

And as for the mpfi conversion, thank you for the advice. Im really hoping its a smooth conversion. Luckily the guy who's helping me do it is a pro and has done it countless times. So it "should" be ok. I'll make sure to inspect them though as you suggest.
  • Looks like you got your hatch figured out. I like the two tone look. You should do checkers all the way through :P
  • So last week I picked up my wagon bumper. So no more hatchback bumper. Also pulled the orange plastics out of the clear turn signal lenses. Big thanks to BOBBOY again for being a n awesome guy and finding the whole set up for me.
Also have a Volvo lip to put on, but not till I can get my heatgun and drill. So that's my update. Still looking for the elusive driverside fender.. once that's done, the painting will continue.

I might be trading my si wheels for the z6. But I still have some serious reservations about it. Hmm..

    You krae krae grrrrl. Haha

The hatch just looks fixed.. :-( myspace angles FTW!
Still haven't figured out how to get it straight. But someday..
  • The other side of awesome..

And the butthole formally known as "wrecked ugly ass eye sore bane of my existence fender"

  • If its a rebuilt motor or a jdm motor go for it, but buying mystery shit (Especially motors!) is super hit and miss.

It it a ton more fun with a quick wagon tho. Dual point is so darn slow.
  • Well what it is exactly is.

    Guy wants to trade me:
Complete "good" z6 head, y8 IM, d15b7 block.
Which includes everything dizzy, alt, sensors etc.

    Leaves me to find:

    p28 ecu
    Ecu jumper plug
    Mpfi conversion

He also has an si tranny, but it apparently grinds, so that's a no go.
  • haha so basically its a mystery mini-me?

Personally i wouldn't risk it, if you can see it running then go for it but the mystery motor game favors the house.
  • Exactly, ill just save and buy when I have the $$.
My b2 is fine till then.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
Id wait too, or do a mini me to the b2. Id do that if I was lucky enough to have a b2..lol. I have a b6 blah. Anyway get a z6 head, intake mani,p28, and do the mpfi then. I have some questions for ya so im gonna pm ya in a bit. Looking good though, hell your already doing better than me. Look at my driver fender id gladly take yours.lol
  • That was my original plan, I think I may just go that route. Less hassle and such, and also, the guy who did my tophats, suspension, exhaust is doing the swap for me with plans to turbo it. So yeah. I might do the b2/z6 turbo .
That's what he suggested anyway haha.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
Thats a good idea, a little cheaper in the long run too. I have a freakin p28 and obd0 to obd1 harness in my closet for whenever I get ready. Finding the parts you need shouldnt be that hard. Pm ing u now.
  • I swapped a y7 head onto my b2, it was WAY more work/expensive than i was expecting. Had to use a z6 timing belt and headgasket. Pulled a throttle cable from an EG, if you dont chip your ecu and delete the o2 sensor it needs to be changed to whatever the obd1 one is, the z6 mani with all the sensors is like 100bucks or so, the dual point intake tube needs to be modded or replaced. I almost would have been better off just doing the mpfi swap and leaving my B2 in there.
I'm still having issues with mine (luckily its just the tps throwing a code now)
  • Started painting..

    900.jpg

Long ways to go, but you get the idea.
  • H_civic66H_civic66 Senior Wagonist
Looks good. I actually had to scroll up to see before. You doing it all? except hood and roof yea?
  • Thanks man :) yeah, im doing the whole car. Minus the hood roof and hatch. I have some over spray here an there, but its no biggie to fix it. And once its all clear coated it'll look way better.

Also get my new fender tomorrow!! Finally. The paint will be done next week. :) with my Volvo lip installed as well.
