nice. the ditch is a great shot. now is time to hit up the rally x.
Yeah definitely. I'd like to do a bit more driving/testing to make sure there is nothing else I need/want to change or replace. Once that's all done and I'm comfortable with it, you bet I'll tear that dirt up!!
maybe try another picture with the car on flat ground but one tire climbing a rock to see how much the whole car and suspension flex between the opposite sides?

can and will do. Its really not a rough ride to be honest. maybe 20% bumpier? i'll look into getting some softer springs, seeing as this is going to be an offroad beast, squishy springs would be best.
Alright well i know i have been severally lacking in the update category...I have been stupid busy at work and super busy planning wedding stuff...i have really not got much done at all.
Some minor updates though...Got my tires mounted and installed yesterday. Had plans to post pix and check fitment but it rained today....just iphone photo's for now. Tires are 205/65/15's
when i pulled my front right wheel off, i found this...woohoo!
And i also got my plates in the mail after about two months of waiting, im pretty stoked.
i'll get a few shots with a real camera here soon. There is a bit of rubbing when the suspension compresses so i'll have to do some...massaging before i can street drive it.
Picked up an axle last night, hope to swap it in tonight. Also did a test drive on the New tires, they only rub in the front on the mud flaps. I'll pull the flaps off and see if they still rub. If I have enough clearance I'll just pick up some rally armor style flaps. The rear looks great. Once my axle is swapped I'll see if I can flex out the suspension and see if I get any more rubbing.
Took a bunch of photos last night. Should have them up tonight.
I don't drive it a lot right now. But I've been searching for one in the area to stop and do that lol. Hopefully when I set up the next Portland meet here soon somebodys wagon will be stock height. I'm curious to see the difference.
Well I noticed the boot was torn when we dis the lift. So I'm going to assume it was just time. But I won't say the lift didn't help it along. I need to replace a few other suspension parts up front...both tie rods are hammered pretty bad. Once I get it up off the ground I'll make a list and start replacing. Then it's off to the dunes
got my passengers axle swapped out. Went with the intergra axle. did it in like 30 minutes. check out what happened when we pulled it out of the transaxle...
I've been sick as hell the past two days so I have not had any will to shoot photos...maybe tonight after work. Eff getting sick. Hope I can get my lights installed tonight too.
very nice wagon you don't see many lifted ones either, keep doing ur great work on it
thanks. I think there are only two that i know of on the site. Mine and 3rd4ce. I believe he has the same lift as me. his build thread is titled something to do with scrappy. Im working on the shake down of jane right now. Need to do some serious bushing replacement, Also need to either buy or fab up a mount for my lights to go on the roof rack...i think im gonna look into that now.
Well i got my PIAA's installed on the roof rack. Welded up some quick brackets and got them bolted down. Ran my harness and had to extend the wires a bit but it was pretty straight forward.
And just some photos...wish i could mob her but i have a severally blown tie rod bushing and it would just be unwise.
Fuck photobucket and ruining the colors of my photos.....
Sadly no I can't make it. Literally a day after I made that forum fest post my buddy decided to ask me to be his best man. Wedding is on Saturday at 2pm in south Salem...there is no way I can make it. I'm missing basically every worth while event this year; it sucks
You're car is killing me. I love it soooooo much dude. It's a damn shame I don't get to see it in person at forum fest.
Yeah I'm pretty bummed I can't go. Two years in a row now :-/
On a side note I'm ordering a new passengers side strut rod bushing kit, or tie rod, or torsion bar...whatever you'd like to call it. As she sits right now I can rock the wheel back and forth about 2 inches lol.
I decided i would inspect and see if i can do anything about the rear diff clunk. got my car up on four jack stands and took a look under. noticed the random bar hanging off the side of the diff...it was just clanking around metal on metal...obviously that is not right. i pulled the bolt out that holds the diff to the mount.
once i got that bolt out, and the three others that held the mount to the rear subframe i found this.
So i did what any garage mechanic would do. Repaired it until i can find a replacement mount. Used some stuff i had laying around to make a solid mount. it is basically urethane, but a little harder.
once i got that done and dry, i made a small "bushing replacement".
And i was left with this disaster after i was finished.
I am also going to install some poly bushings between the rear subframe mounts and the body. It still clunks a bit but i think this will completely solve it. wryann from VIP figured it out and says it works wonders!

You are lucky to have raised lettering on your custom plates there.
Here in Washington we get bad flat decals. Although my prelude did miraculously get VTEC on the plate.
