ya im going to get axles made, cause i want em beefy and ya useing the wagon diff seems like its simpler and less shit to get fucked up and ya im all about all time 4wd, keep me posted im really lookin forward to doing this swap!
yea that page is gone due to my use violations. lol. well you can see the car here. pretty much looks the same as last photos. does need some minor electrical work, o2 sensor wires need to be hooked up (4wires) for obd1 p72 ecu. tuned with apexi vafc II (i know it sucks) i have a driveshaft for it, does need to be shortened to work. The car needs an additional engine stabilizing mount, the engine rocks a little bit. 3000 miles since the rebuild.
ok got some more work done. the other pics are from about a week ago.
Can i edit the post thread title??
I shaved the engine bay. It was pretty easy with good results. There are a few harnesses that need to be lengthened to pull the fuse box thru to the passenger kick panel. If you want some more pics of that i can take some.
Here are some pics of the front engine mounts I can take some better pictures so you would be able to get the perfect location of the passenger side mount because that one had to be removed and replaced
heres the passenger side mount has to be welded on. camera is right above where the radiator goes (if you need a point of reference)
And again with the camera a little further infront of the car
This pic was taken from the passenger side of the car looking downward look (notice the side of the shock tower on the left of the photo)
Looking straight down on the mount. Shock tower in the bottom left
Ill try to get some pics of the tranny mount tomorrow.
This is the Drivers side mount. Using a DA "engine to engine mount bracket" makes the mount sit at a weird angle so i used some washers between the mount(Aluminum Hasport) and the DA" engine to engine mount bracket" to level it out
