  • Small update, I have the shocks away for machining. I am able to get about 25-30mm lower at the front, and about the same at the back.

Hope to get them back tomorrow and install them this weekend. I also have to prep the Integra for a trackday on Tuesday
  • Still havnt got shocks back as it was a public holiday yesturday.

But I have been working on the integra, installed radiator:

Trimmed Fan to make it fit, and binned the other fan
    106.jpg

Also am part way through installed Oil temp and Oil Pressure gauges and shift light

    How it sits now

  • Got a new drivers side tail light and a rocker cover from RTI Intrac the other day:

Rocker Cover as it sits now, paint stripped and shaved:

Also got my shocks back from getting machined:
    344.jpg
Top groove is the original, middle one should be a 20mm drop, bottom one should be a 35mm drop.

    And some pics:

Also had the track day with the integra, it was raining and I ended up going backwards and sideways at 120kp/h off into the grass/mud which was quite amusing

Once in the dry I had awesome fun, managed to get to 185kp/h on the back straight and could go out for 7laps at a time before oil temp got to 120degrees + and I had to back off

  • And now at a decent height:

Rear springs are *just* captive, front spring perch is almost sitting on the brake line bracket
  • What do you guys reckon about removing the roof rails to make it looks lower?

How would I go about doing this and not leaving holes in my roof?

Leave the rails man. Watch once you take them off you'll think your car looks naked. Haha.

If you take them off, sell them to me. :P

Haha, seems kinda normal around here (except for the fact I have never seen a modified shuttle in person, or a 98spec 4door)

i like the 4 doors better than 2 doors.
is that a mugen wing i see on the itr as well?
  • Yea 4 door is much better to have, its used to be my daily.

Its a replica of a Mugen Gen1 Wing, I wanted a genuine one and would have bought one, except that they were never made for a 4door and wouldnt fit.
So I got this one made, its carbon fibre as well but Im looking at getting it painted.

Also considering some Work SE37k Special Edition Blue wheels for it
  • Painted up my new rocker cover:

    479.jpg

Looks a bit plain, but heaps better than it was
  • Next on the list is painting the wheels, was going to go black with a polished lip, but thats a bit common so came up with this in photoshop:

Ive tried to match it to the body colour, thats as close as I could get.

    Thoughts?

    Looks good!
  • Both rides are sick. I want to get a 00 EX sedan and do the whole JDM VIP thing. Your teg gives me inspiration.

you could sell it. lots of guys want them.
i took mine off and had the holes welded shut.
i was worried about the roof warping from the welds, but it hasn't happend yet.

Thats how most koni's come in NZ, have a few grooves for different heights.
SO from kinda low to as low as I can with captive springs cost about $5 8)

Cheers for the info, ive kinda gone off that train of thought as I might be needed roof racks to carry stuff around.

On another note I have just ordered a JDM EF9 (facelift) front bumper and lip, also a "personal" box that replaces the ash tray as I dont smoke.

Should get onto that in a week or so, gunna try paint the bumper myself as its grey at the moment, will see how that goes

I decided my rocker cover looked a bit plain, so chucked on this sticker:

Luckily I dont have any kids to put in mine (and hopefully not for a few years yet) but certainly good a lot more useful than a 2door

Nope DA front lip modified to fit with my heatgun, cordless drill and jigsaw :D

Came out pretty decent I think
  • nice wagon. you should try the lime green on the rims. i think that the matching rim to body only looks good in neutral colored cars. thats just me though.
