Oh believe me I have, but New Zealand just isnt built for low cars.

Already the center muffler scrapes a lot, rear muffler does going up driveways, and those winglets are going to take a beating if im not careful.

I find it handles soo well as it is so lowering wouldnt be for performance. So at this stage its last on the list :D

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the comments :D

Its slowly coming together, got it stock just over a year ago now. I dont think there will be many more cosmetic mods, time to work on the engine as ive done the handling side of things

  • Sick cars man you got some junkyards around their i would love to buy some parts haha
  • Well ive been saving up to move outta home so not much has happened.

Have installed a 8" subtube and amp in the shuttle (no pics)

Next on the list is to get it a bit lower, did a quick shop to show what I want

  • Started on the wheels today:

    After:
    234.jpg

Going to paint the spokes black tomorrow
  • nice... what did u use to clean em... came out real good...
  • Well it took 1.5hours for that wheel.

Used wet and dry sandpaper, started with 400 grit, then 800grit, then 1200grit then 1200 grit with polishing paste and finally just polishing paste.

Started with the best condition wheel so the others will take longer :?
  • Was going for a drive with the GF earlier and happened to spot this, a '94 Shuttle RTX, had to get a pic..

So the EDM rear cargo compartments don't come with speaker pods? The compartments in my EF5 RTi had pods for 4" x 6" speakers.

My EF3 has no speaker pods, look just like BillBoards ones, but the cargo cover is in worse condition.

Hmm.. did yours have a pretty decent gathers/alpine headunit with an alpine equaliser underneath the head unit? Figured i'd ask in here rather than hijacking.
  • Fair enough,

Nope had some Japanese Panasonic Tape player with AUX in, front speakers are Blue coned Kenwood Co Aixels, had no rear speakers or rear speaker wiring that I could find
  • HaydzHaydz Moderator
Interesting. The rear speaker wiring should be there you might just need to dig around for it (quite deep).
  • Headunit was definitely after market, had silver tape holding it in

Yea I saved myself the trouble and ran new wiring.
Which reminds me time for an update 8) (tomorrow when its not dark)
  • New Additions:

Front Strut Brace (need to paint rocker cover after degreasing engine bay)
    431.jpg

Rear Strut brace, actually a EG/DC brace that I modified to fit, also a 8" sub tube:
    432.jpg

    And all covered up:
    433.jpg

Braces made a HUUUUUUUUGE difference, would recommend it to anyone, cost me $90 for both and well worth it!

And some random pics since I was cleaning:
Switch I installed for driving lights
    434.jpg

Just ticked over 160ks on the way to work:
    435.jpg

    Clean Interior:
    436.jpg

Something a Japanese person might understand?
    437.jpg

    Underseat tray:
    438.jpg

Added some 5mm spacers to the rear:
    439.jpg

Sorry for so many pics, I got carried away
At least some of you may find them interesting
  • BillBoardBillBoard council member
very interesting--- i want power mirrors...
  • Do you have to extend your wheel studs for those spacers? I want to do this, my rear tires look like they are so sucked in.
  • Nope heaps of thread for 5mm, wouldnt want to go much more, could possibly squeeze 7mm spacers on.

That gives my rear wheels a +30et offset
  • Your car is looking mighty fine 8)

  • Small update:

    126.jpg

And for the Integra a 52mm Ali Radiator and JIC Magic Rear lower tie bar:
