sacking is coming as soon as possible. When the clutch slips, the car almost stalls when I stop, and my axles click, I obviously need to take car of priorities, but I plan to drop it in january.
I wont be going slammed though fyi. Its one thing to scrape exhaust, its a totally diffferent thing to scrape a driveshaft that costs almost 600 from honda and is not readily available used
changed my plugs and plug wires and swapped out a pcv hose that had collapsed so hopefully my idle will be fixed. NExt weekend, the clutch goes in with a new flywheel and new axles with an oil change. I plan to have a pioneer deh-6300ub head unit and maybe 3 way speakers in before christmas but we'll see
updates: clutchmasters piss poor manufacturing left me with a clutch who's spline was too small by several thousandths. Enough to not slip over my input shaft. So ifigured, oh well I do some filing. BUTTTTT they sent me the incorrect throwout bearing. Well at least I got a flywheel right. WRONG. ACT failed to mention to my sponsor that the flywheel is only compatible with a larger pressure plate that ACT sells.
Props to Mitch at qsrace.com (my sponsor) for getting on clutchmaster and ACT's A$$. He's doing a huge help by taking care of their mistakes so I can focus on getting the OEM replacement clutch that will be here monday in.
So I have to miss work and a class on monday so I can put my car back together.
I will never again ask for parts outside of the marketplace and I will read the rules again
Also As for the wheels i think mugen was you best choice. I am more oem parts man. I have Gram lights on my acura nsx. They are the 57s-po with titanium lip. hight polished. I will be painting them this year possibly white.
The wagon is clean and you need to get interior pics up. lol. Show that thing off.

and I'd love to get a set of mugen mr5's but its so hard to find a legit set around me. I could sell my grams and buy a set on ebay but I have no idea what these particular grams are worth. I've emailed multiple JDM wheel importers and none of them could give me a price because they've never bought or sold a set. I've had a few people be quite skeptical that these were even grams cause they had never seen them before lol having rare stuff is a pain sometimes.
and does painting grams make them worth less? I'd like to get mine ceramic coated a light tan or an off/cream white but I dont want to remove the lables and badges if it would just kill the value.
lol. Yeah sorry about that. keep on thinking im on crxcommunity and nsxprime. Forgot wagon form is different.
The gram lights already chipped on the spokes which is weird. I wanted them a different color anyway from the begining when i bought them new. But mine where custom ordered for big break kits clearance. Thats what was available for custom wheels to be made. Love the wheels, op notch company in line with mugen.
I love your wheels too but think for oem old school look, mugen would be the way to go.
MoAR updates: replaced all three u joints today so the driveshaft is ready to go back in. The previous owner had velcro on the dash and a pillers for a sun screen and I removed those today. Also thought that my steering wheel had some deterioration on the bottom but turned out to be just some gunk that I scraped off with my knife and wiped clean. Also wiped my grams down real good to get the axle grease off. They really shine when theyre not dirty
If you do they will not make them worth less if they need it. Once you buy them new they loose value. Its easier to buy then sell. SO for me its worth it i get to have new look. Its like getting new wheels.
sweet! when I need new tires, I'll send em to my bud to get ceramic coated. I'm looking at picking up a set of 13in enkei ek 84's to roll on through winter. annnd So I got the stock clutch, got it installed, put the car back together, went to put the driveshaft back in and come to find out one of my mounting bolts was bung up and my uncle didnt have the metric die to clean it up that night and then didnt have time to shove it back in the morning after being cleaned up so its still out. good news is the car is back on the road
so I ordered a passenger side mirror block off plate ( I am going to make my own matching pair out of sheet metal using the one I bought as a template. And I am going to use 70s celica fender mirrors. Ill order those as soon as i get the block off plates done.
ya I can definitely hit you up after i've made my templates. Its the block off plate for inside AND outside. VERY RARE. I overpaid for it in my opinion but I'll give it to you for less than I got for. PM me if your interested in more details, or I'll just PM you when I'm done with it. Dont want to get the mods angry about this kind of conversation outside of the B/S/T section. Got me banned a few months ago
I've got a dirty little secret in the works for the wagon as well. I'll take pics when its here. Lets just say, I almost had a heart attack when I found it
thanks man. and I dont see alot of blue ones around for sale. theres some tan ones and some red ones around me and my buddy has one thats black but was red and then repainted that he's selling. I didnt start seeing all these wagons for sale till after I got mine, but I dont think i could have done much better being the second owner and all

Yea no kidding that car is pristine!! Yea I will get me a RT one day I know a guy whos drives one to work that isn't for sale but he said he would let it go to me! (:
Haha true. My brothe is 6'4" and he drives a 90 ex sedan everyday no problem. But he is really skinny also. Yea I wish I could pick up from u really far from me now!
JUST SCORED A SET OF ALL 4 CLIPS to fit my dads old yakima rack set up from his volvo he had back in the day. y17 clips. the hardest clips to find in the world and I just bought 4 brand new 8) basically got a whole yakima rack with all four towers with both cross bars and two bike racks and a ski rack for 50 bucks (cost of clips). just need to pick up a fairing and I'll be set.
Looking good! It's nice to see one that's not beat to death.
The right side mirror delete isn't rare, but the left one is. Every USDM wagon came with only the left mirror. Right side one was a dealer option. The right hand mirror is rarer than the delete panel.
let me now how many you find for sale with the interior block off plate included and in perfect condition. I sure as hell couldnt find any on ebay or honda-tech.
What you said is true but for some reason those interior block off plates are extremely elusive.

New wheels look good though, jealous
