well I sold my teg on friday night (7/14/11) and bought a an 88 EE4 last night (7/15/11). Car has only had two owners. The guy I bought it from bought it from a lady on 6/14/11 and never even bothered to get it titled or registered. Car is 99% stock accept for a pioneer head unit and JVC speakers that were purchased from and installed by Crutchfield in 88 Its in great condition! brand new tires. Interior is perfect accept for one small rip in drivers side seat. Body is clean accept for a small dent in the passenger side front fender an a small patch of rust that was fixed on the drivers side rear fender (needs to be sanded and repainted because they didnt use the right paint). The drive shaft needs new u-joints which it will get this week.

d15b with t3/t4 turbo shooting for 180 hp (keeping it low cause it will be a stock motor and I'm trying to keep decent gas mileage/ac/power steering).

now taking suggestions for OLD SCHOOL rims for the wagon. Rims are going to be the first major mod other than a roof rack... I have time to look around cause the rims that are on it are going to be my winter rims. Ive been looking at mugen mr5 but sooooo pricey I cant find enkei aeronautics anywhere

so pleaseeeee post suggestions and links to where I can buy if you find em (REPLICAS ARE OK)

taking it to get it inspected tomorrow I think if not tomorrow, definitely this week. Roof rack should be here by friday. I am ordering club civic license plate holders and most likely mugen license plate bolts. And I am on the hunt for mugen mr5's. And also hopefully talking to my buddy who just opened up a online store about a possible sponsorship 8) and after this post, only two more till I can finally not have to wait for my posts to be "screened"

I passed up a d17a2 with 165k miles yesterday. Could have had it for 300 and it just needed to have the head resurfaced and a head gasket set and head bolts. It was a complete longblock. unfortunately, my died last sunday which is why i havent updated and it wont be back from apple for another 3 weeks. So that 300 is going to buying an old g4 powerbook so I can somewhat keep up with my graphic design business.

Oh, forgot to mention the same day I got it inspected, the windshield cracked. I barely got that inspection lol 3 hours sooner and I would have failed.

I should also be putting my driveshaft back in with the custom made u joints.

and in about a month I should be getting my custom coated bmw bottlecaps. I'm thinkin battleship gray or red.

Check the market for details but for now all of the current design of decals is sold out. There should be another generation of decals coming along any time now.

k so my alternator was going bad (only charging to 12 volts with all accessories off) and I could keep running it for a while but I went a head and bought a new one and it will be installed tomorrow. I bought a 32" thule fairing last night and the wagon is officially sponsored by quick spool racing (qsracing.com)!!! Friend of mine just started the company and I'll be doing some graphic design for him and he's gonna hook me up with parts. Good news, my struts are going bad for some that would be a bad thing, for me it means that I will be more motivated to get/install coilovers! Look for a drop around January. Hopefully for christmas my parents will hook me up with control arms and camber kit (yeah right lol my mom thought a alternator was what started a car) but anyway, I am currently trying to pick a name for the wagon and a color for rims: gray or red?

For your speaker problem, check the harness behind the radio, it seems the pins come loose and don't make full contact. either re-pin it or find another harness, make sure to clean the contacts on the radio and maybe put a little dielectric grease on the tabs.

my speakers are pretty much blown. I found out I just have to keep them well under full volume and then they both work and sound decent (other than being so quiet, if you have the heater/air on or the windows even partially down you cant hear anything lol

some new speakers and a head unit are on my to do list but I am going to look at a 68 gibson b (maybe d) 25 tomorrow and I'm probably going to buy it. Its from guitar center so i can make payments, but i plan to pay it off really quick.

Also, I am in desperate need of y17 clips for my yakima sst towers and and front spindles/knuckles/brakes from a 90-93 da integra or a 90/91 ex so I can run my new rims.

after alll that, window tint and a drop is in route
