how tight is it on front ..???
looks like a stock 13 on there now ..??? :?
maybe a spacer or hey just do a brake caliper swap with extended studs ...
  • theyre stock ef stealies currently on theree and I'd need 10mm spacers which I cant run on stock studs :(
  • Wait the xxr 522's wont clear the front brakes?
  • theyre not xxr.... rota offroad grids. hence the rota center caps lol and no they dont. the back plate (part that sits against the rotor) is so big, it extends out and hits the caliper.

    hummmm
so is it the stock Rt brake rotors and calipers ..????

simple upgrade ( I actually did that one thing myself...)
i have the redrilled prelude rotors & the machined caliper bracket...
will need those other spindle/knuckle things .. (dont know what its off of  but im sure one of the others will chime n soon enough or i a can simply ask the BrakExpert  )

can even test fit one of the rims on Scrappy if U wanna make sure it will work ... i need to buy some new integra axles and install them mine have been shot from day one but hey ride them til they bust ..
  • car needs go be lowered already on those grids cause ive been wanting to get those wheels but didnt want to be disappointed with how it looks! go go go!
  • the grids need to be officailly before it get lowered if it gets lowered >:) I might lift it and put some all terains on. havent decided yet. Either way itll be getting skunk2 coilovers.

so you did a brake conversion?
  • Hahaha i really should double check before i post after getting home from work...

on a serious note tho, super stoked to see what it'll look like if you decide to go lower :D
  • I want to try getting down to an inch of wheel gap with no camber.

^^^ that guys looks real good
  • changed my oil today. Confirmed all the details for my teggy front spindle/knuckle swap. Now just need to reaccululate money and hit up a pick a part

my friend just ordered k sport coilovers and he was sitting on drop zone sleeves so I might be throwing his old drop zones on tomorrow and I might be putting the driveshaft back in today.
  • da9broda9bro Wagonist
driveshaft is still out, friend broke both of his LCA bolts so that haulted him getting his coils in so that haulted me from getting his old ones.

and I had been having some idle issues. I cleaned the IACV with not much improvement so I checked my plugs to discover that they were soaked in oil so I installed a new valve cover gasket set. It now idles SLIGHTLY better but the plugs and wires were soaked in oil so I dont expect much improvement till they are swapped.

Other than that, no updates :(

ok so a few updates/teasers. I drove up to WV on saturday to trade my offroads. I noticed my temp spiking and then dropping back to normal on the way up there and I recently cleaned the IACV and replaced a hose so I figured I just had air in the lines. Anyway i bought some antifreeze from the walmart i met at and topped my coolant off and headed back home. About 15 miles away, my temp started to go up. I figured it would drop as it usually does, but when it kept going up I pushed the clutch in and turned the car off. As I coasted to the top of a hill, I noticed smoke peeling out form under the hood. After it cooled down, I found that the radiator was dry, the whole side of my motor and engine bay on the passenger side was wet and my coolant reservoir was full.

I'm in school and dont have time to troubleshoot and fix it so its at a mechanic's (who just happens to be a good family friends) house. Pretty sure it just needs a stat and whatever blew replaced.

Good news is, I got some rims that fit 8) 15x6.5 +38 Volk Rays Gram Light 57C optimise

ok hows the wagon sir..?? hope it was a simple fix..!!

  • i had a friend of mine whos a mechanic fix it for me since I dont have time while im in school. I thought it was going to take some serious diagnosis since it didnt have any common thermostat problems or obvious leaks till that day but he replaced a hose and drove it to kingdom come and didnt have any problems so I guess its fixed. I'm going to be getting a racing thermostat for it soon just to ease my paranoia. Also my clutch has been slipping so before November is out, I will have a stage 2 clutch and most likely an 11 pound flywheel. Plugs should be here tomorrow or friday and will be in my car with the NGK plug wires before Monday.

what do you mean by bad idle?
usually it means you have an air leak somewhere..
such as, throttle body (get new gasket), vacuum lines (check for rips/holes) etc..
  • its electrical. If I turn on my headlights, or step on the brake pedal, or put my turn signal on, it will get worse. Pretty sure its my plugs, which are in the mail
