I kind of assumed it was going to have to be a universal one. I'll get ahold of my friend and have him order me one from whiteline or energy or another company that may have one that will work. I guess since my car is on jack stands right now I can pull the mount back out and measure.::

Any update on this? Saw mine last week cracked all the way through
  • Has anyone tried filling it with window weld? Iv seen it done on motor mounts and it makes quite a difference I planned on growing this with mine.

I filled ALL of the mounts for Fool'sGold. Have not driven it yet though.
  • AbideAbide Council Member
just ordered one from majestic.....im filling before it goes in but the one on the car is completely shot so it wont be a comparison for me
  • driftin90driftin90 Senior Wagonist
Why not just fill the torn one? Shouldnt make a difference if it was torn or new.
  • AbideAbide Council Member
because one of the arms is completely broken, it just kind of rests on the mount. id prefer to fill the new one and swap them out in a few minutes than have the car up on stands for a day.
  • driftin90driftin90 Senior Wagonist
Thats understandable. I hate having my car down too. Wouldnt it be wiser though to put in the new one as is, and see if you like it first. being its a new oem one. Fill the torn one whenever and swap it out when you have time. That way if it is too stiff, which I would doubt also. Then you still have that new one to go back to and not have to buy another one. Just my two cents, as it is your car. I'd like to know how it goes with a filled one. Sounds like a good idea.

Edit- sorry forgot you said it had a broken arm.

naaa gonna go ahead an fill, the car starts it's rallyx debut on the 17th. gonna need all the duct tape and help it can get to stay in one piece. the motor is getting some 75a mounts at the same time as well.

do you have these in stock can I swing in tomorrow? I had a couple things welded from you for my wagon.
  • lets start off that i have all bad engine mounts, would this affect my back diferential alignment and cause a vibration humming sound from the back-end of my wagon?

so i bought this mod from ryan, and when i went to replace the bushings everything was fine untill i tried to align the threads up from the back differential mount... one side went in swell and i used a jack to try to get the other bolt to thread into the hole... well it didnt want to thread in.. so i forced the bolt up in there! after a good 10 minutes of wrenching i got it to the right height for it to be tight.. i think i messed up the threads, would this contribute to my bumpy shaky humming back end?? someone pleasee give me insight.

I the bolt that hold the front of the diff up are not tight then yes! that could make the back end shake and vibrate. Also check your drivline u-joints and just do a good overall inspection, check for rear wheel bearing slop to! good luck!
