    Original owner of 1990 2wd, 5 speed; has 215k mi on original engine and trans, neither rebuilt, overall car operates great, does not burn oil. Obviously very reliable. I always keep it garaged. Unfortunately Honda Corp does not build simple ultra reliable cars, guess they are not profitable.

    Updating this. I've had the wagon for nearly 8 years now, and the Odometer has just clicked over 335,000km :!:

    Only faults in this period have been the SRS ECU dying, and the alarm frying.
