Next take a rubber mallet and take your time tapping them apart, this is about what you will end up with. I had already taken off the pressure relief valve.

Next remove the 8 10mm bolts and tap with a rubber mallet until it separates like so. Notice the rubber coupler is pretty worn!

I know! Hopefully this thing turns into a beast, all I need now is a rising rate FPR 5 to 1 ratio, thermal gasket, rebuild kit for the charger, walbro 255, and my chipped p28! Just about $400

IDK if a lil D can handle a vortech lol,

^^If you don't mind me asking, Why supercharge? Why not go turbo? Just curious.

The torque is really nice in a jackson and i wanted something very simple that didn't require me to fiddle with my AC!
  • JDMWago666JDMWago666 Senior Wagonist
    Oh that makes sense.
  • Updates? =)
  • leWolfleWolf Senior Wagonist
Kinda hit a wall on the project, slight lack of money and I just started a new job. It will be back on track ASAP. Thanks for following my threads!
  • leWolfleWolf Senior Wagonist
Just started working through some minor things on the engine and realized I had somehow been off one tooth the whole time  . SO I am in the middle of working on that and I adjust the idle without jumping my timing calibration and now it's running like crap! Does anyone know the procedure on how to adjust the idle by the book? I cant seem to locate mine.
  • Send me a pm with your email and I'll send you a .zip of the manual for the z6.

Also, I'm in the middle of my z6 vitara build and will have my JRSC sometime next week :)

So I installed the shocks and everything sit's up high while I'm riding on bump stops. I know i didnt install them wrong anyone got a clue of whats up. I bought a set of shocks for an 89 civic and coilovers too! :x
  • JDMWago666JDMWago666 Senior Wagonist
Those are the exact struts and color LCAs I have on my wagon. Only my LCAs are Blox and I'm using Tein lowering springs.
  • Is everything sitting high? You're gonna have to really slam the rears to make them level with the fronts.

As far as bumpstops go...tophats ftw?

Agreed, This isnt exactly the best setup but it is nice and it definatley needs a set of top hats for the lowered look without a funky rides. Also Turns out they shipped me a set of DA integra shocks!
