As she sat when I got her, she had two trash bags of garbage in her and she was beat!

After we got most of the issues fixed and some new rims!

18.jpg

So the body work began and in the previous pics you can see the big dent we were working on. Here it is stripped of bondo!

267.jpg

Oh, brand new exhaust on the car and it sounds good!

We just shaved the trim off the fenders and the door. Ooh it looks so good without the trim! Really not bad for some guy who has no clue how to do bodywork. (yes those are runs in the primer, the nozzle flipped out)

294.jpg

I just got the front end all back together and DAMN! She's looking good!

485.jpg

And Now I have a fresh JDM heart! That's a fresh z6 waiting to go in with my SI cable trans! I also have a y8 manifold that is going on it just for a little more punch!

486.jpg

OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we got the wagon bodywork done and got it all painted! We even shaved the trim and it looks GOOD!

looking good. nice to have a build thread to go back and check in on. LOVE the exhaust i really may end up going this route. but just in my opinion which i know is nothing but iam just not feeling the headlights.....side markers look good just the head lights are eh'. ..again just me. its your car. but really nice work on your body work. iam too much of a pussy to try my hand at body work. looking good though man well done.

yeah, I've got mixed feelings about the lights too. I really like the blacked out markers and tails tho!
  • Sweet color dude...it matches good w/ the rims and the tinted markers... looks like you could use a passenger mirror though...

    Nice work!
  • leWolfleWolf Senior Wagonist
Yeah the headlights were almost necessary, mine were full of dirt and yeah I might switch back to original lights. Maybe later though!

Crx headlights off ebay and then I swapped the wagon brackets. It works well though!
  • Looking mighty good indeed . Agreed on the headlights .
  • Car is looking good. I like the headlights (minus the halo) but if they work better that's all that matters.

So I think it's time i get my new motor in and done, just did 2 trips to vegas and it's tired and it eats a quart of oil per tank.
  • Looks good. I like it...minus the Honda sticker on the windshield.

good job man! looks like a lot of work that was well worth it.
  • leWolfleWolf Senior Wagonist
Well I have been working very hard on getting my wagon up and running with my new motor. Yup A D16Z6, with mpfi while running obd1 and running a P08 Ecu!
    7.jpg
Dont forget how exciting this is for me!
    8.jpg
Pulled the engine and had to add wires!
    9.jpg
End result is one nasty sounding wagon!

So I'm going to be selling my Headlights or trading them for a Stock set plus clean corners, Anyone interested in a trade?
Also I am still waiting on getting a new job before I can go back to fixing my wagon more so keep tuned in for updates!

Looks like you have differnt wheels on there yet again. I am still down with the first set of wheels the best. The first picture of your engine looks pretty sweet. Makes it look epiiic haha.

So I broke down and bought a Jackson for my car, I really felt this was a good idea. So $800 later Im now getting ready to have a nice bump in power. I also lucked out and found a set of LS meshies so those are going on too! Stay tuned for updates!
  • Cant wait for updates. I'm planning the same build for my RT (Z6 + JRSC) and I'm interested to hear more opinions of what the results are for a DD vehicle.

Where did you find the JRSC?
What pulley are you going to use?
    How complete was the kit?
What type of tuning are you going to use?

I really liked the first set of rims better than the others(personal opinion) Clean ass wagon though, I'm digging the no panel thing. I was thinking about doing that too but most likely won't. Wanna see the updates on this wagon. Turning out really good.

Oh yeah I had those rims in your last pic on my wagon when I first bought it. They are heavy! Sold them and got me some LS Webs.

    Thanks! :D
  • looks rad as hell man, keep doin ya thing
  • wait so what kind of DC strut bar did u buy it for? what model is that bar supposed to be in?, i know DC didn't throw money into franchising wagon parts lol
  • EF/DA braces work
  • NZ-DB8R wrote:

so if i went to say...ebay? ans typed in ef strut bar, it would fit??
  • When I say EF/DA strut braces work, I mean that EF/DA strut braces will fit. So yes, if you got a EF strut brace it would fit, based on the fact that a Wagon is essentially an EF

If you arnt sure, just have a search on here, someone somewhere has likely already done what you are considering and made a post about it
  • leWolfleWolf Senior Wagonist
So the jackson showed up and it really needs a rebuild BAD! Yay, freakin YAY! SO I'll post up pictures soon and show how to rebuild your JRSC. I'm also thinking I need to write up how to install in a wagon!
