Didn't touch mine, but I went by my friend Junior's place to see what he needed to get his wagovan going: It had failed emissions(therefore no tag  ) and no extra money to have it fixed. Well, I said I'd take a look. It failed smog for HC (usu. ignition) and CO (rich AF mix). Checked for codes, it had 6(coolant temp sens, causes rich) 7 (TPS) 10 (IAT sens, causes rich) and 16 (fuel injector)
And whoever put this engine in needs a good ass-whooping! Missing 2 bellhousing bolts, 1 motor mount bolt, ALL of the clutch cable and plug wire routing brackets from the vc, 2 bolts from the manifold heatshield, o2 sensor bent, coolant temp sensor broken off... lots of other stuff of that sort...I HATE shit like that!
So we started off by washing the engine and car (had a bad dist o-ring leak)
Replaced:
distributor (built one up from the best used parts)
complete throttle body with injectors, plus replaced non-adjustable TPS screws
IAT sensor
CT sensor
o2 sensor
all those missing bits above
several vacuum and coolant hoses
straightened and rerouted bent AC lines
replaced some damaged wiring/plugs
adjusted the clutch
plus a bunch of other random stuff...I kinda get carried away
Hopefully we'll see this car at the April 26 meet!
Tried to find an exhaust leak I think I have. (If I crack open my driver's side window just a little, I get a heavy exhaust smell inside the car. Seems like I'm drawing exhaust fumes from somewhere). I couldn't find the leak though. Also fixed my speedo cable as when my clutch was replaced, the speedo cable was never plugged in properly. It wasn't even clipped in! Now I don't have to rely on my GPS to see how fast (or slow) I'm going!
Hopefully next weekend I'll be installing the yellow fogs I got from Harbor Freight last week. I guess I'll be drilling into my bumper eh?
got tail light fron JY (50$ off thsi weekend) and passenger headlight. intalled em today. i need to go back for the driverside headlight tomorrow and help a friend fnd his parts too.
Went to the local salvage yard. They had a couple wagons last time I was there. This time they had an Easter Egg hunt and if you found an egg, it had a discount for that day's purchase. Didn't find one but I heard a guy who did and he ended up with 20% off.
Anyhoo, this time around I left with 2 passenger side mirrors, a passenger side hood hinge, and (I'm really excited about this find) OEM driving lights with wiring harness, fuse and switch off of an Accord hatchback. They even have the plastic covers with the (faded, yet still visible) Honda logo. I don't think I would've noticed the driving lights if I wasn't looking for Easter eggs!!! LOL!!! I also got the driveshaft from an RT4WD. The one I have seems fine but you never know right? I really needed the rear diff though as I think that's why my RT4WD clunks when it's engaged. Funny thing too was the engine, tranny and rear diff were gone but they left the driveshaft. You'd think they'd need that too right? There was also an OEM roof rack that I was about to get but had to leave. Plus I already got one my last visit so if it's still there next time I go, I'll get it for sure. There was a good 5 or 6 wagons this time compared to the 2 or 3 last visit. Maybe next time I'll bring a cordless sawzall and get me some quarter panels. Oh, I also got a hub for my wife's Dodge Grand Caravan.
Some of what I got:
Passenger Mirrors:
OEM "H" logo driving lights cover:
OEM BOSCH driving lights from an Accord hatchback:
Forgot to look for an underseat storage thing. Didn't see an Integras to look for an armrest or seats. I need a new driver's seat too as my big fat ass is ripping the one I have now. Saw some Sparcos for sale on craigslist but they're the bucket ones and I think those would be uncofortable to commute in ya?
put oil in it, only to see it come out of the tailpipe in a big blue cloud throughout the day, hahaha. Time to rebuild the A6 and add a little more duration to the valves
I vacuumed the wagon out, cleaned the OEM floormats, and ran a cassette head cleaner through the deck to make sure my iPod still plays crystal clear through it. Just got to measure my DC Integra LCAs front and rear, to make sure they'd work as suitable replacements for my bent OEM stuff.
Adjusted my exhaust. Turns out the donut gasket wasn't made for my exhaust and that's what caused it to fit funny. Also installed some Accord front lip on my rear. Needs to be painted though. Refer to the first pic to see how the exhaust looked, then two of the lip.
Tried to get my windshield glass replaced. But they can't find a new gasket anywhere in the state, and the tech was worried that he'd break the gasket if he cut it out. Then it would look terrible.
Installed the HIDs and scrubbed my front rims pretty well, meshies are sometimes a pain. lol Also painted my rear lip, and cleaned the front of my interior up some. Getting my windshield reinstalled Tuesday morning, then going to see why my rear tail light is leaking so bad so I can get my rear seats and stuff back in.
ordered some foglights ,midwing and some coilovers.....rims coming soon just waitin on tires......i promised myself that i wouldnt do anything to this car and keep it a simple dd...but i just cant help it...

Got the towers, 48" bars, 38" fairing and clips (that don't fit). I just have to buy the right clips and I'll post up some pics.
Got the Q6 clips. Here's a shitty pic:

Today I bashed the insides of the catalytic converter out, sounds a bit better and leaves a awesome smoke trail now
