  • yeah i know haha... seems like i bought the parts before the car... it was already dark when i posted these and tomorrow will be better anyways... oh yeah and my bad for not reading the rules on the marketplace... i do have alot of forums and some just dont care.. but ive got the pic posting thing all figured out so yeah.. i tried again...

its that light blue color.. not too sure what the name of it is but i love it... i traded my shitbox nissan hardbody and $400 for this amazing wagon... its in such great shape..
  • story behind the car...

i was checking out some other ej8 builds (my other project)... and i came across a video of a 4wd wagon beating a vette as im sure you have all seen.. so i got on google to check them out... did a lil research to see what you could do with one, the different models, jdm, edm, and usdm options... prices and availability, wheels, how to lower... lots of stuff so i dont go into this blind folded... fell in love with them... then i tried to find one!

well trying to find a rt4wd in good shape for a better price locally was impossible... so i saw this local craigslist ad for a fwd model for 1200 but i noticed in his ad he said he had a newer 4wd model and was ridding himself of the fwd... so i went to check it out

well.. the fwd model had rust everywhere... there was a very long rust lining on the lip of the hood where you could see THROUGH it... and the interior was shot but everything worked properly... drove nice and didn't overheat, radio worked all lights came on and went off at startup blah blah blah..

then i saw this rt4wd sitting in his garage... checked it out and fell in love with it instantly... so i asked if he would be interested in a truck... and he replied that he only wanted a hardbody pickup... so my hopes soared through the clouds... he told me he preferred a single cab 2wd five speed.. which is exactly what i had.. so in turn he came to my house that very same day to look at it and said he was very interested in a trade... we settled on trade plus 400... drove it back to his house where he test drove the truck and i tested the shaggin wagon and we traded simple as that... that very same day... so this is how i got my lil piece of HONDA history and my newest project toy...

  • i think so ... just need to do a million things before im happy with her lol... like everyone else...

thanks guys... every update will come with pics... love this scene.. you guys are helpful thanks a million
  • more goodies from the local junkyard...
  • more awesome junkyard stuff... i tested every window and they all still work perfectly!!!
  • and it matches my interior! too awesome picked it all up for 150!!!
  • hellz yea hit me up one day im on southside but always in op !
  • yeah man that blue is sick... ill hit you up when im over that way and have some time...
  • just got myself some speaker pods and a lower sonsole... pics are to follow delivery!!!
  • well i got the wrong console and thats my fault but its for sale for whoever has an ef and wants a black lower console... but on to better news im in the very slow process of adding all the power options to my wagon to include oem cruise control. i just pulled the entire harness from an auto ef sedan (the entire thing from left headlight to the fuse box to all doors to across the entire dash to the right side to the right headlight.. all of it... 4 hours of raping this ef sedan in my local pick and pull).. so in my endeavors i ended up making my own gauge cluster and steering wheel so far... here are my end results... thanks for looking...

how did you do the cruise control?

I got a complete kit except cluster.
  • Power windows and cruise control, the two essential things our wagons are missing.

    Keep up the good work

Can you show me a pic of the underside of the tow hitch? Curious to see what style? As far as the mounting. I see it's a Curtis.

good job, just curious about the door panels. I didn't think they fit. Keep it up.
  • ive seen some people say they have used them but if not then oh well i will just get my stockers redone to match my integra seats (gonna recover everything with the evolution cloth seat pattern someday!)... more goodies today... getting ready for a plug and play install...
  • just need to take my car completely apart and start pluggin and playing... the only real mod i will need to do is drilling and cutting holes where the cruise control cable goes and where all the door power stuff will be going... yay.. but that wont be until my jswap ek coupe is done... working every chance i get... thanks guys... never seen an entire harness swap done before and there was an ef sedan lx in the local pick and pull so i had to give it a shot and see what happens... so far ive spent about 175 (not including the price of the door panels which will more than likely be sold to whomever wants to buy them) so i dont think its that costly to see how this will all turn out...

not to mention ive never seen a working completely oem setup in a wagon so i can have power door locks, mirrors, windows and fully functioning cruise control.... updates to come!!!

That's what I did, just spent a few days pulling all the power mods. The lx sedan I pulled all my stuff from didn't have power steering which I thought was strange. I'll probably do all my power stuff this spring givin my shoulder is better. Check out my thread if you get a chance. Oh even though the panels don't fit you can still use them, put them over your existing ones and trace what you have to cut out. Then get rid of them.
  • im originally from memphis, tennessee... a good bit aways but might set something up next time i come up that ways... good idea with the tracing too... thanks... good looking out

    Def. Let me know.
  • just picked up a y8 head with jdm vtec-e valve cover complete with solenoid and all valvetrain.... for 40!!! i cant believe the deal... now i just need to trade for a regular vtec valve cover or shave the e on mine

Wow, I'm on board to see how your CC project works out. CC is the one thing I can't live without, locks and windows no problem, but having to sit on the gas on long trips is the worst. Did you just replace the display in your cluster with the sedan display and was it PNP? Thanks.
  • yes i did... im using the complete car harness from an lx sedan that i pulled all the options out of... and yes its plug and play completely with the steering wheel and cluster... ive got the cc brain mounted under the dash already but i have to wait til my jswap ek comes to life before the shaggin wagon goes down for surgery... i just added the cc box, light, and indicator light on the cluster... everything else is the same between the two as long as you stay within your years. will add more pics when the wife comes home from trip...
  • pulled this from an unmodified da1 integra sedan at the junkyard... can anyone tell me where car this is actually apart of... ive look at every integra from the da1 and da3 era on jdm websites and every usdm website i know of and none of them have this seat with the armrest... the way the armrest is mounted to the seat makes me think its oem since the original fabrics is made around it like an oem part would be. just asking the crowd for some help... if anyone knows
  • i found out that these are cdm gsr seats... from a da enthusiast.

on another note i just picked up my Acura el 1.6 VTEC valve cover from the powder-coat shop... wrinkle blue... its dark blue like the oem f20b valve covers...

i also have a VTEC-E valve cover and a z6 VTEC valve cover on top of my d16a6 that's currently in the wagon and the zc nonvtec complete long-block with tranny that's sitting in my garage waiting for that y8 head ive got to put on it! a good valve cover just makes an engine bay beautiful when done right! pictures will follow next week when i get back from my Seattle trip
