dun, dun dunnnnnnn!
theres a few parts i need to get, but at least i picked out the color paint i'm going with...
it's glorious, andddd you have to wait to see it hahaha...
i hope one day I can strip a car this much and start fresh
thanks roro, i'm very fortunate to be able to have a build like this.... it's not easy at all, and it's taken a very long time since i've started. i know it'll be worth the end result.
Yeh I can see that! It a nice big shop, the room and the tools to do so!
i can imagine how long this has taken as it seems very far from done but like we all say, it's so worth it in the enend fortunately for me my dad and I are mechanics and I do body work / welding / detailing / wheels tires / glass and custom fab so between the two of us and the hoist and all the tools and room we can get things done no problem

Thats awesome man! I'm just learning bodywork for the first time and what not. So I'll be doing my best my mentor has been doing it for 43+ years lol. So I have a good helping hand when I get stuck.
I'm sure if you pm him your number he would be glad to help you through texts or pm...Marco is a great guy! And no I'm not a homo. Keep up the great work Marco.

I texted you, get back to me if you still have questions.
had the throw the rear suspension on so i could roll the wagon.
just a little test fitting.
clutch cable bracket that i stole off a 5 speed hatchback at the yard. i needed to modify my firewall since it was from an automatic beagle in japan...the bracket needed a nut welded to it, and a little modifying.
you know it wouldn't be a PROPER conversion without an antennae relocation...
primer!
body glaze...
After a ton of sanding/wet sanding REPEAT... it's time to move things to the paint booth!
I need to get some better pictures in the sun light, but it'll have to do for now.
nice! you got tien suspension! good call on the antenna relocation, for a minute there i thought you were gonna do something goofy and drill out the center top rear of the roof lolz. is that original beagle color? that dark blue? Keep up the great work, I want pictures of it out in the sun bro!
@ken yes I just hope the teins ride well! And nah none if that ghetto stuff here! I'll get some pics by sat/Sunday of the color in the sun! It's a new 2009-2012 oem vw color... It's supposed to be real good quality paint.
DUDE!!! so pumped to see progress on this wagon! super jealous of that front bumper/headlight washers
ive made the decision to paint my wagon like a beagle, so seeing this makes me 110% want to do it
if you have instagram give me a follow and i'll do the same! roro_hs
That bumper was my latest purchase ... I love it lol. The blue I'm using is very different than the beagle blue. I'll take a picture next week to compare it. I'm going with one color and matched handles, mirrors and moldings.
