New from Thule!!! Bet that was pricy! My whole Thule rack set up with fairing, bars and 2x Bike racks cost less than $200. Only the fairing was new though
Finally got the rear knuckles off my old DA8 RTA's. Now I have the DA8 front and rear hubs to play with. So hopefully when I get bored I can clean them up and do a full brake conversion on the shuttle Considering in buying another set of shuttle RTA's so I can install them out of the car (I might do a swap of them as I just got new RTA bushes put in my shuttle RTA's... not that they are difiicult to swap over) Only reaoson why I want a new set of RTA's is that you have to do a little massaging with a hammer and blow torch as we all know.
Also have a 15/16" DC2 booster and master cylinder for it.
More than likely I'll just clean up and install the fronts first as that's the real stopping power
I just threw out my sprare 2wd trailing arms! Damn. That always happens.
With the Da front hubs I had to use the shuttle UCAs as the da ones didn't fit.
looks like a bit of a tight squeeze, saw the rest of the pics on nzh. how much space do you have between the crank and body?
It'll be worth the effort when you drive it. The torque of the b20 was fun so the h22 will be even better!
Got a bit bored and wanted to achieve something on the shuttle so i painted the rocker cover and intake i plan to use in the final build for this.
All i need now is a bloody engine!
thats beyond sexy!! makes me want to reconsider another skunk2 intake manifold! and I wish i had my engine swap so i can paint the valve cover... seems like the only thing i've been wanting to truly do, paint... anyways, nice work my man, mad jealous!
The bottom half of a newish (Like 2002) Mitsi RVR (But im pretty sure its the same lip on lancers etc) lip fits pretty much perfect over an PFL EK9-style lip. A few screws to hold into place and bob's your uncle. It's about 2 inches lower than the EK9 lip so it means I can be low at the front for wind deflection and not have to be stupid low because of the H2B sump issue (Which is soon to be solved )
Yea $7 from PaP lol. Couldn't say no to trying it out.
Havent seen ground clearence yet, need to put axles in first and a few other things before it goes on the ground. BUT, the lip hangs lower than the sump, and the lip is hella low, so should easily be like 2-3 inches from the ground... (Well... I hope so!)
^ Might not end up using ti which is a bit of a laugh, have been offered a B16a2 for cheap, so im very tempted down that route. Just double checking to see if DC2 axles can fit EF no worries, or do I need to put in DC2 mid shaft with DA half shafts etc etc

Did you get much done on the EK?

Think I might have to get my modded alloy sump finished for NIMM too... I dislike being high :P
Dissappointed no one made a comment on the modded lip

What year did they stop making the shuttle in your country?
I think the reason was that the orthia hadnt came out yet and honda didnt provide an economy wagon (Accord was "luxury" AFAIK) ... or something...
Am spending no love on the EF until the EK goes "BROOOOM! Brap brap brap brap brap.... poof..... BROOOOM!"
In that order.
I have several things to do on the EF once the EK is done too So will be a nice big update in a couple weeks when I get round to it
