2wd but yeah im goining through Innovative for motor mounts and shit linkages. gonna just grab some axles from autozone, im staying obd0, im gettin a wire harness for around $125 and a ecu for $90 from motor sports shop here in indy. i still need to get ahold of the center consol or w/e for the stick instead of the auto. i need to get a clutch pedal and run the clutch, prolly nab one'a them up from a crx or ef in a junkyard.....and im pretty sure thats it. just need to snatch up a tranny quick. a buddy told me i need to get a diff intake manifold because the one thats on the b20 now, the hood wont shut lol not worried bout that now ill roll no hood. hahaa i got 2 cars and a garage!
You can use the stock harness but convert it to mpfi and save some money. Or hit up "the head" he has a multi point harness for sale. I'll hit up this guy on ims and see how much he wants for the tranny he has, how much you looking to spend on a tranny?
whats mpfi? my buddy was tellin me about it, the wiring is the only thing i dont really know about. ight ill see if i can find that dude because a harness thats already made would make it so much easier on me. for a tranny i really dont wanna drop anything over 250-3 thanks for helpin me out too bro!!
Multi Point Fuel Injection. It's what you have on your B20 and what you're going to need to convert from what the wagon is right now. The 2wd wagons have Dual Point Fuel Injection and in order to put the B20 in you'll need to make it Multi Point Fuel Injection. You're also going to need to repin your ecu and get an ecu compatible with your B20 cuz your pm5(your ecu now) is not going to work with your B20. PM if you have any other questions.

i know its been about a month with no updates, the motors been out of the wagon for a min now. i had some problems with the garage i was working in and had to end up moving the car back to my garage, and both the motors back to my crib. got a hoist now, planning on dropping the motor in this weekend now that i got everything rollin again.
not sure whats going on with the clutch. theres absolutely no tension in it and its engaging. not sure what it could be, gonna drop the cradle and clean up that notch for the header. while thats out gonna drop the tranny and see if i can figure out whats up with that clutch. any thoughts? i know the pressure plate is good so not really sure whats goin on with that....still working on the wire harness
pulled the motor and tranny and it seems like the clutch is hitting the pressure plate and not allowing it to fully engage. not even enough to do anything. im looking into getting a new clutch set i guess, not really sure whats going on with it. but its just another delay just when everything was going so good....
Did you put the clutch in backwards? I know it sounds dumb but I did it and those sound like the same symptoms. Drop the tranny and flip the clutch. Also, make sure to adjust it properly. Hope this helps.
yeah i was talkn to a buddy last night and thats what he said that i might have it in backwards....its possible lol i deff wouldnt put it past me to do something like that. gonna flip it today n drop the motor back in. see what that does. also with my cable for the clutch i got one for my car, you think maybe it could be too long? should i have gotten a diff one?

yeah thats what ive heard. im not planning on boosting the wagon. im prolly gonna throw 8-10psi on my coupe and then either have the other turbo sitting around just incase? possibly sell it? or maybe get another motor and build it for boost? not really sure yet. but no i will not be boosting the wagon.

first start. still some work to be done with vacuum lines, hoses, and i need a bracket for the shifter to bolt up to. as of right now its kinda just hangin there by a coat hanger lol
i need bushings for the shift linkages bad. im also not 100% sure i have the correct firing order. i searched and searched but almost every thing i pulled up would tell me something different.
sad news tho im moving to Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas this weekend. i can only trailer down my Coupe, so the wagon is gonna have to sit in storage for a couple months until i can come back for it.
ok so im back in Indy and these last couple days ive really been putting some time into the wagon. found out it sounded like a tractor because it was only running on 2 cylinders. 0_o got that problem fixed but theres still something going on with it and i dont really know what it is, so ive hit another wall. it idles really good but when i go to drive it if runs like shit. theres no power, and it seems like it hits fuel cut or something at like 4000rpm. im not sure what rpm cause i have no tac right now. i dont know whats going on with that either.
im thinking it might be in limp mode?! im honestly not sure at this point. the wiring harness is a mess right now, im hoping i can get some local help, so someone that really knows a lot about them can figure out whats up. it'll drive, but very sluggish. i can get from point A to B but dont count on me being on time.....
if it seems like its hitting a rev limit, shes definitely in limp mode. Probably also why no power and such. I had that problem with my Z6 for quite a while until I went through all the wiring with a fine-tooth comb. Good luck getting her going right, B20 VTEC was always something I wanted to dump in my car.
yup thats exactly what it seems like its doing. i figured it was in limp mode. so my problem is still somewhere in my wiring....i dont even know where to begin at this point. i think it could be in the dizzy jumper
That's where my problem was. Wiring was a mess. Took it all back apart, made a new jumper and soldered everything properly, and she ran great. But yeah, if shes in limp mode, something isn't quite right somewhere. start at things you had to solder if anything, then you'll get to read a bunch of wiring schematics and make sure all of your wires go where they are supposed to!
