Very slow on wagon updates. Just driving & enjoying. But...mailing off unused wagon parts tomorrow & waiting on new, very special wagon goodies to come on big brown truck. Stay tuned!
Just got this from Ebay. NOS trailer hitch cover. This won't be rocked very often. Slick fingers would snatch it up quick.
I'll just keep it on my desk mostly and for shows & whatnot. Thought it was cool none the less!
It's here, It's here! A bullbar that has lived all over the world and graced many a wagon is now residing in my garage! Very excited for this chapter.
Thanks to an awesome seller with epic packaging skills that allowed this treasure to make it safely across the country. Now begins many tasks.
First order of business, get this puppy powder coated. It came to me in a natural sandblasted state. I feel it deserves proper treatment as bad as
I want to run out and mount it up, I will hold off. Going with a close to original silver. Yeah for wagon parts!!! Christmas in May!!
Lucky that you got nice packaging when I got mine, it was pretty much thrown in a big box no wrapping or anything with screws and lower console rolling every where. That was disturbing. Anyways, your wagon is going to look so boss when that bull bar is mounted! I'm working on the wiring for the fog lights then going to get my bull bar mounted. Get all that wiring stuff kicked out of the way...
Bullbar is off to the powder coaters this morning. Going to get the proper finnish! Going with "Anodized Silver" it was called on the sample chart. Hope it turns out close to factory color.
The guy said they were pretty busy. 7 Days, maybe less. Now I just wait for the call In the mean time, Think I'll get the wiring for the fogs sorted out.
Oh My!! De-badged and un-racked....This cant be good!
Good bye ugly fuel spill stain I have hated since bringing you home!
This is to be a process. Not an overnight sensation. Just want to freshen up the old paint job.
Not trying to fix all the dents and make it a trailer queen. Just a nice fresh coat cause' I love it so.
so, over the next couple of weeks, I will work a little here & there til' I get it all sanded down, Then I'll
get my spray on. And in case you were wondering...Staying stock color.
Billy i am loving all your builds... Wish i had this kind of insight and knowledge, are you going to re-badge and re-rack it after paint? I am in the market for a good roof rack.... saw some on EGay last night......

I will rebadge for sure. As for re-racking, I am looking into going with a permanent bolt on style rack. Something like Bam has on Goldie. I still want to be able to use my fairing though. I really like the look of it. Stay tuned for rack decisions.

Nice! And cool hitch cover if there was a spoon blue I would pick that up but red works for me too.
