I flew into Seattle to pick this up from Turbo_teg. shenries old ride. the GSR/CRV wagon... Probably the word timing possible, but we made it work. picked her up, stalled it right away, and then made our way back to his pad. from there i cruised to Portland for a job interview; no luck. that place is in the shitter. cruised down to brookings, or to visit my grandparents, then down to san francisco and oakland, then down to san jose, then hollywood, then laguna beach, then to san diego, then to yuma, az, then to phoenix, then home back in Albuquerque....
Water pump and timing belt went out when in Los Angeles, had it replaced and was on my way. radiator blew up in Yuma, AZ (118 degsssss!) but finally made it back. now pulling the car apart and sanding down to fix the rust.
plans include blue s2000 seats, willwood fronts, PIC coilovers, full race/koyo, roof rack and yakima trays, all red tails, ef9 complete front end (the whole thing), new wheel bearings and studs, completely new steering/suspension, and 16" jmags....some other bits too.
ill keep this updated as things happen...
im just pumped to have it. now gotta get to work on the RUST and suspension.

Matt, you need to sell me them window visors. Pedal assembly and steering wheel?! Pretty please!
The car is fun. The b16a cams suck, but the car has potential. It needs a whole lit of attention. Just cosmetic things, really.
Planning on painting it FJ cruiser tan and rhyno liner. Same paint scheme as the JDM beagle.
Picked up a s2000 stereo today as well!

whale penis, odyssey battery, new cap/rotor/plugs/wires/s200 stereo/itr boot and knob/16" jmags/etc...
and charged up the CRX!

gonna drill/mount the rack, and then weld off the rear wiper, the antenna hole, and maybe a custom wing for the rear?! have a hatch one...we'll see.
still need the EDM rear cargo/interior and a new cluster...and thats about it. placed a large order with SEM yesterday. new interior colours, and new front s2000 seats in blueee.
she's loving all the attention:) hopefully painted/fineshed by halloween. weird date to set, right?! hahah

Im in the middle of a major liquidation as i need to get down to 2 cars. will be selling my CRX in the Spring and keeping my completely stock RT and this thing. anyways, ive been working a much as i can on it, but with 60-70hr work weeks ive found it hard to really get anywhere. slow and steady, i guess...
replaced the following:
-complete Energy bushing kit. oh man was it a pain. f the midwest. all that shit was calcified on there. but all the bushing have now been replaced!
-OEM Honda tie rods, ball joints, front wheel bearings (NSK), Axle nuts, steering rack bushing, and steering rack boots (found a Si rack too at the yard)
-Skunk2 Pro upper A-Arms
-Wilwood 13" front bigbrake kit
-rebuilt rear CV joints with OEM Honda CRV boots
-Replaced the rear drums and shoes/hardware
-Trailing arm bushings
-Ksport toe and rear camber kits
-PIC EF Coilovers:)
-Fullrace Trac Bar and PWR Radiator
-Odyssey 680 Battery
-New Plugs, wires, cap/rotor (when i pulled the cap off, the rotor was just wedged on there...no set screw to be found!)
-Amsoil in the Trans with BLOX oil/trans plugs
-Changed the rear diff fluid back to Honda Dual Pump like it is supposed to have
-Hondata IM gasket
-Custom OEM Airbox/w3" eBay arm
-Stripped Valvecover and spark plug cover
I stripped the whole car all the way to the metal (the outside/jambs, etc..) and was surprised by how little rust there was. two sections on the passenger quarters, on on the drivers and the drivers tailight housing. no biggie! For the most part, she's ready for primer at this point. May need a bit of filler, and a buddy is doing the quarters, but shouldnt be bad...a lot less than i originally thought!

EDM rear fogs
SEM Satin Black Vinyl paint/bulldog for the whole interior
material to recover headliner
also painted my RT satin black in the two days i had off. i love it. painting my RT wheels as we speak. white with the red H...and blizzaks!

They are s2000 ones....although, ebay has the clear DEPOT EK sidemarkers that im poutting on the CRV....the s2000 ones bump out a bit....
