Enjoying your build thread. Keep it up! Might be using that bull bar setup on my hatch. Since It's surrendering its bull bar to my AWD.
  • i wish i could find the listing. but it was a closeout item so im sure that company does not manufacture that anymore. but there are alot out there that look like it. :)

I got underneath the wagon to give her some love. put in my skunk 2 coilovers in the rear (maxed out of course) as well as my skunk 2 camber kit, to pull the tires in a bit. It still isn't low enough. I have done some searching but im a little confused on what i can do to get this thing even lower??

I picked up my rally armor mudflaps, they look awesome with the offset and really give the rear end a meaner look.

  • I have heard that you can take off one of the rings on your coilovers and it will get you a little lower. I'm not sure how much lower because I don't have coils.

Put up some side profile pictures of the wagon to see what the flaps look like. Also, have you done anything else in regards to the flares you were thinking about doing at one point?
  • ill grab some pictures tomorrow for you.

I really haven't had any luck finding moderately priced flares yet, but it's still on the list. so for now its cambered, and later i can push it out a bit to fill the flare.
  • did the DIY poly filled mounts. trans and the two top motor mounts. waiting for it to dry.

I also grabbed a couple things for the engine bay to finish it up. pictures to come soon
  • Final project turned out nice. vibrates on cold but is very quiet at idle. love the feel, the car doesnt give that in gear shock, clutch chatter went down to nothing and just feels like an overall well build car. would recommend to anyone looking to replace mounts or someone who just wants a better feel from the motor/trans.

fyi the damper is from (92-2000) civic, del sol, d16 or d15.

Nice I like the Engine Torque Damper was it easy to put on?
  • it took a small amount of cutting with a hacksaw, they dont make an ef chassis damper from what i found. so I just had to cut and drill the bracket that didnt work.
  • heres how its working so far

this is the larger bracket that had to be cut and drilled

    this one mounted just fine

where did you get the flairs????
  • Egay. :) they were listed as vg flairs but i found out that 240sx guys run the 240z flares. they are 2.5" in the front 3" in the back
  • da9broda9bro Wagonist
cant wait to see how they turn out! i reallly wanna run some flares
  • thanks! yeah I am waiting for them to come i might have them up next weekend. I love old school plate frame and my i love EE sticker should be coming by then.
  • Can I see a side shot of the wago before you get them on? lol, I'm thinking about getting similar sized/offset wheels
  • here are some shots i had that i never put up. sorry :) but keep in mind the backs are max cambered right now, normally they stick out like the fronts

  • looks good! are they 15x8's? I know you said 15 and +0, but not the width. Just wondering because It seems as though your wheels stick out further than others that have 15x8 +0

lookn good cant wait to see the fender flares on btw i think ur mud flaps look sweet i think they look better then oem ones
  • They are 15x9
  • Got a burst of energy today and did a brake fluid flush and an MTF change. when I drained the fluid it was really clean, it was a sigh of relief that the previous owner took car of it. I tried royal purple 10w30 and overall I'm pretty happy with how it feels.
  • da9broda9bro Wagonist
i was running penzoil 10w30 and just switched to honda MTF, and the difference was astounding. Honda MTF is no hype, its really nice. Just for future reference
  • I'm going to give it a shot next time then. It was between GM synchromesh and royal mix, and genuine Honda MTF
  • da9broda9bro Wagonist
im going to do a friction modified synchromesh and honda MTF mix next time. hopefully wont need to change my tranny fluid for a while though 8)
  • Yeah that's for sure. I heard good things about the friction modified MTF so I think I'll try it as well.
  • I'm looking to buy a fairing for my thule rack. as well as an air direction selector cable, seeing as I broke mine.
