Your coversion is comming out clean bro. Ive always wanted a rhd wago. Great job. Looking forward to seeing the beast when finished... I recognize thise build from anywhere. Your mr. Static great job bro
@ef_wagovan : today i will try to knock out alot of things. ive also decided to not run any heater/ac core until i refurbish it. plus it will help he progress faster. i threw the motor in the other day as well.
swagon: im not blue tagging it anymore. but if you know, care to explain the blue tagging process? im far into it already and a bunch of people told me info that i didnt not find anywhere and that its too late for me to blue tag my car cause of where i am on the car now. few people out there has called chp and they just said its illegal to do so. i said f.k it and went ahead anyways.
well as far as blue tagging it you still can but you have to follow ever single lil thing such as tacking the rhd clip along with the car telling them your planning to do a rhd and show them what parts you are gonna be using and so forth and when cutting the fire wall you have to cut around the vin the us vin must stay in place then take it to chp once again with both fire walls cut out and us vin still attached a buddy of mine his friend does them legit and does all blue tagg process and paper work but its pricey but worth it cause cant be taken away for rhd
for the most part, the rhd is done. the vin is *cough* still there its all good. car wont be on the streets too much to be stressed about.
how the car sits. i got my harness in. really nice piece. started putting my interior in tonight and realized i didnt wash my front seats so those are hold. im just about ready to fire it up.
Looking good man. Too bad I sold my wagon and got out the game. I'll be back in SD soon, hopefully, I'll run into you at some shows or something once this thing is done.
my cars finally almost done. next on my list is a fuel tuck kit. cause its still too clustered in that corner. also running a CJTuck harness and i love it.
Did you have any issues hooking up the fuel lines? Also have you relocated the hood and hatch release? I`m getting ready to order my front clip from hmotors
i improvised alot of things. but the fuel lines all went back as it came out. no problems with that. the hood release is on the right side cause my clip came with it. but my hatch is still on the left cause theres no hole to mount to the right.
looks like you cut everything off you need too. im pretty sure i chopped off the ends completely, like above the turn signals. you wont beable to bolt in every bolt on the top, it takes a little bit of finagaling- but really it looks like you got a hold of it- once you put the bumper filler piece thing on the top is there still gaps???
doing final touches on the wagon tonight. still have 1 more day to make it 100%. Car will be shown at BloxOpenHouse in Fremont Cali if anyone is up here in the norcal.
