I am looking to convert my auto to a stick. I have the tranny But I am having a hard time finding a donner or even the other parts I need. Does any one have a list of all the parts and pieces I will need to complete this. if so just let me know . Unfortunatly the guy trashed the doner car not knowing what they had. I also will be painting it next week after the the body shop pulls the back out a little because the rear doors were almost touching the body when they were shut. Good thing the snow is taking it's time. Any info would be a huge help. Thanks. Michael.

Did you make the mounting hardware, or did you just use the quad/utv 4x100 bolt pattern hardware? Very interested in seeing this thing go through some snow.
Do you know which model of Mattracks those are? Are they 4x100? I looked on Mattracks site and the only ones that look like yours are the UTV ones. But no bolt pattern was listed.
They are the utv tracks and they actualy had the 4x100 adapter plates in stock. The trick was making the brackets to keep them from twisting with the spindle and hitting the front and back of the wheel well. I will send some vidieo as soon as I get it up there but unfortunatly we have had a late season as far as the snow goes. I am also in the process of painting it so that will take another week. I will post pics of that also. And thank you guy's for your help with all of your answers on what pieces I will need for the swap.
To anwer a few questions the big drivers- sprockets in the middle of the track are alot smaller than the wheels and they hook directly to the spindle. So I actually am only turning a wheel the size of the driver. I would imagine a top speed of 50 at best.So yes power is no issue. A turbo would be a dream come true but as for now with an auto I think it would be a waist of time.I will say that a red wagon I have found localy is maybe the next cannadate but the guy wants 1600.00 and the tranny has been pulled along with the engine and the engine is junk.I just dont care to pay that kind of money when I have a good runner already. The roads I have to travel are roads leading up to all of the cabins in our community so all to often kids, snowmobiles and animals are pressent. I dont care to go any faster than 15mph in and around the community. I also figured on using it to haul kids back up from the bottom of the sleding hill. I do have plans of putting a winch on the front and using it to to help stranded people out on the trail. I figure it will be a very useful tool for all.
