I think I may have put my 1991 tracked wagon in the wrong spot. So here it is This pic is before I lifted it about two inches so things won't rub so easy. I atempted to lift it pieces I had constructed but unfortunatly there is not enough travel with in the suspension and axles for it to be relieable. I ended up just useing the same adjuster you would use to lower your civic but instead I used the stock springs. I will try to post the new pic's later. Let me tell you my neighbors were rather suprised to see a honda civic blowing by there house at 40 plus!!!! God I love hondas. http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk67 ... 1261458282

I have had this just a few weeks and far as vidieo goes I will film somthing as soon as I go too my cabin. The whole reason for this project is because they close the gates at the bottom of my road and only let snowmobiles through. I have three dogs one of which is a great dane along with my wife and daughter. No more cold two mile rides to my cabin for us!! Also I love hondas and have no problem working on them. Plus everyone said it wouldnt work. I am here to tell you My neighbors know differently now!! I will post pic's as I go. I save this from the crusher at a junk yard all because the former did'nt change the timming belt in time and bent two valves. Thank's to my good buddy corey at fluid motorsports in tacoma the doner head went in and all was great! I will be painting it next and I would love to find a roof rack and front bumper lke the the jdm ones have. Thank you all for your comments and I will try to keep you posted with my progress. Michael.

I think 40 is the top speed according to mattrack.
  • BillBoardBillBoard council member
let me know when it goes up for sale.. i will be all over it like Kristie Alley on a donut...
  • WOW! Pretty cool! I remember reading about these tracks somewhere (Popular Mechanics prolly). Very cool to see it done to a wagon. Now what is the top speed and did you have to modify the tracks or the rt4wd (assuming it is rt4wd) for those to work aith the wagon?

I perchased the tracks for a guy who had them on craigslist in tacoma. He wanted 3500.00 and I talked him down to 3000.00$ I am currently in the prodject around 3800.00 with the 600.00 plus tax and the few parts i needed to fix the car. I will be painting it next and luckly the car has like zero rust and only a few small dents. I do believe I will be picking up a roof rack tomarrow so that will be another 150.00 but lets face it my wifes rhino was better then 10,000.00 and it doesent even have heat or real doors. The only ting I wory about is the auto trany and the whole real time 4wd but time will tell and I have yet to be let down by a honda. I wish there were more of these around parts wise. Does anyone know where I can find one of the stock front bumpers with the lights?
