Well, put away the pipe dream that was the J32A2... traded it away for half the motor lol
The last few years I've been dying to rebuild a motor myself. I wasn't going to be able to pull off the J swap this year, and found a local Honda shop that had a surplus of Honda motors and transmissions, and was willing to make a trade. I traded my J32A2 long block for a D16A6 with a freshly rebuilt head, matching intake manifold with injectors, and a cable Si tranny. The D15 that is in there now is OK with the MPFI swap, but obviously not ideal. I'd like to do a swap next winter (don't ask, cuz I don't know). But for now, my plan is to rebuild the bottom end of the A6, have the tranny rebuilt (3rd pops out in my tranny now), and install it and put 5-10k miles on it. At which point I'll pull the motor and install it into my RT next fall.
I never understood the D series life, until I became a part of it lol
Here's a couple of pics...
Spent about 15 minutes doing wheel bearings on my RT tonight, got frustrated with a stuck drum and decided I wanted to clean Betty Drove down to the corner where there's a heated DIY carwash, gave her a good rinse with hot soapy water then rinsed her off. Went back to my work and pulled into the heated shop. Cleaned out the interior like it was summer time.
