El carro rojo

took awhile, had a tear drop almost daily ever since my wagon went to shenrie to become the rally wagon.
found this little guy on craigslist about 2 1/2 months ago. was posted for $2,300 talked the guy down to $1700 then some finacial issues popped up and i had to pass, tried passing a decent deal on to others but i guess it never sold. about a week ago i seen it posted back up with a reduced price down to the $1700. called him up and told him i still wanted it but only had $1000.00 and he accepted ! next took a nice scenic 8 hr drive and swooped it up!
its durty , and needs quite a bit of work(to get cleaned up) but shit what do you expect for a 91 with 355,000 miles . might i add original motor , doesn't smoke or leak oil! next cool thing i found out is the guy i bought it from purchased it in 1991 with only 30,000 miles on it. here is a few pics, like i said she is durty. guy lives out in the country on a farm and it had been sitting for almost 10 months.

i was suprised to see that it had the rear pods

as for plans , im not sure if i wanna go low with it or keep it with 4x4 stance so i have something i can play with in the desert as well. in the mean time i just want to get it cleaned up , caught up on maintenance .

Some spit and shine and the wagon is good to go, doesn't look too bad for 355k miles!
