Also can you break down your exhaust(can brand, custom parts involved)?
Thanks.
Again DOPE ride.
The seats werent too hard. I used the wagon brackets on the Si seats, even though I would have rather used the Si set. All I really had to do was drill a hole on one side of the brackets and the other side bolted on (cant remember which side I had to drill out, sorry man
Oh ya, and thanks for the props!
Plus you got me stuck on the red color. LOVE your wagon. Now I just need to get one of my own damnit.
Wow, thank you so much, but I do have to say that the car looks waaay better in pix than it does up close. There is hardly any paint left on the car. Whoever owned it before me did not take care of the paint at all. Personally I hate red cars, but I always seem to get stuck with red. Theres a few red cars that I like, but for the most part theres just too many red cars for me out there. I want the car black. And where did you see the car posted at? Just curious. I noticed it was in a colage of wagons on another board. Thought that was cool 8)
Also, thanks for the props Pacifier. Wait till the swaps done
Far from it. Im going to have the rear seats reulpolstered to match. The wagon rear is a 60/40 and the Si seats are 50/50 split. I have enough material to make up the difference along with matching the door inserts. I havent had the jing to get it taken care of yet. Im more worried about the engine swap. The interior will come later along with a system etc...
Thanks for the comps duckie!
his red wagon looks way better than mine
good job, seriously!!!
and as far as that red color thing goes he's right! mine is like that too, it always seems to look great in pics, the previous JAG*FF owner of my wagon looked like he never took care of sh!t on mine :!: & the paint up close isn't that good. I've tried buffing it ect. & it just looks BLAH. It has some shine but its just too old :?
I tinted the tails myself. I went to a local autopaint store and had them mix clear and black together and put it in rattlecans. It took a few times for them to get the shade I wanted, but all in all it turned out good. My tails are all cracked up, but again, you cant tell in pix. I use this combo on most of the vehicles I own.
These are the ones on my Integra. I spent a lot of time on these tails cause I hated the stock ones with the pink lines in them. Removed the lines inside with sandpaper and repolished, added some baffle from the tasklight from my cubical at my last job and finally tinted the red part of the tail. I didnt go as dark with these ones cause this car seems to attract bored police.
BTW, thanks for the compliments akira! Ive seen the stuff youve done to your wagon and Im very impressed. You will be receiving pm's from me when its time to do some of the mods I plan on doing later
yeah that was me. I had it in a collage with some other tight wagons when I had my own board going on.
Its a really cool setup, however I didnt get it for racing. I got the setup solely for being able to gear up for snowboarding in the car with the door shut. Ha, kinda a poser huh? One of the cool things is that the quick release assembly brings the wheel back almost 2".
you still got those kosei's?
Snowboarding is something I'd like to try. (I have 2 wakeboards and a wakeskate)
You have two, red, RT4wd right?
bam bam, snowboarding is more important to me than most everything other than my wife. We live for it. Ive been riding since around 86. I love the other things we do, but riding is at the top of the list. I just wish I lived in a better area for snowfall
If your in an area that gets good snow and has a decent snow season, you should definatly give it a try, especially if your a natural at wakeskating...which reminds me...a good friend of mine has a wakeskate company called calibrated http://www.calibratedwakesurfing.com/ you should check them out. I dont have access to a boat anymore and dont know anything about wakeskating, so if youve heard anything about that company, Id love to hear what youve heard. Hes a really good friend of mine from hs and Id love to pass some info/imput on to him if possible.
Charab, I was actually thinking about starting a thread cause I didnt know if I had one or not, so I did a little searching and found the original. So I updated instead
Spicy and slammed, the rear lcas are Suspension Techniques Proarms. They come with thier Dropforks too. Both have been discontinued for quite some time now and are impossible to find. If you do stumble on to some, grab them up with aggression. Those parts allow me to go 1.5" lower than most. When they came out, thier claim to fame was lowering the car 1.5" and retaining all the factory specs as far as alignments go.
They really are badass parts and I still cant believe they wont make them again. Ive stopped at thier booth at SEMA 4 years in a row when I was working in the industry and asked them every year when they would make them again. They said the first year I stopped that if I got enough intrest and people to sign up on a petition that they would consider making them again, so I started a few petitions on numorous boards but hardly anyone expressed any intrest at all.
a guy here sold 5 of them that were 16's with no tires for $150, but i didnt have money to get them.
i was so damn bummed, thats such a good deal.
snowboarding FTMFW. haha.
I was stoked to find the 6 16x8 rota slips I picked up late last summer for 400 bucks, 5 for 150 would have been a better deal though. But then again, us poor ass wagon owners cant be choosy, lol.
Thaclutch, thats the color Progress used to make everything. I think they still do too. I really like thier stuff, but Ive heard a lot of negative feedback about thier new design of coilovers, so I dont really recommend them to people much anymore. Thier swaybar kits are kickass though and priced very well.
Thanks to all who have taken the time to post props!
A lot of the pictures from when I first got my wagon got blown away when the shop I worked at closed down, so I dont have any of those pix left. If any of you guys have copies of them Id love it if you could post them up for me.
I need to do a thread for teh wagon I got from Bill too. Its changed considerably since he had it. Shes getting a rebuilt heart soon
yes...
shae i like the tinted headlights... sexy party...
very nice wagon!!! i cant wait to do a b-series rt4wd but first i have to take of my suspension. can you show how did you mount the rear progress sway bay. im planning to get one myself coz its so scary to go through the twistess. a lot of body rolls. if would be kind enough to show pics on the bracket. and one more thing i bought a blox rear toe kit and it seems short. any idea on this kind of rear toe kits?
thanks
wagon.................4ever...............
