1988 Stock Wagon

Just bought a 1988 Wagon AWD. It has the 1.6 liter and when I went to Honda and asked for what engine it was all they could give me was a stock number
. I would assume this is a D15 engine right? I have googled for days and just figured I'd post. Anyone help me?
Are there any engines I can just swap straight in that will bolt in and connect to my tranny or would a "mini-me" be a better route? Would I be getting a significant amount a HP for doing so that I would notice or am i better off keeping it stock? Would it be any harder on the tranny and rear diff? :?
It has only 150K and just replaced the timing belt, rear diff mounts, and fluids. I plan on looking at the brakes later. I want to keep the 13's for some reason (they're cheap)
but think the stock rims have got to go. Any 5 stars anyone recommends?
Will post some pics as soon as I finished with the rear diff.
Thanks

Any d-series engine will bolt up to your tranny, and since your car is already wired for multi-point injection the swap is relatively easy.
The stock rims? Should be 14".
cant see a thing...
