Why you should buy full body coilovers to lower your wagon with pictures.

IMO if your looking to go low in a civic wagon springs and shocks aren't the way to go. What you want is full body coilovers with lower shock body and spring preload adjustment. You can make custom extended top hats for a spring and shock combo but you'll have a somewhat rediculus amount of droop and now the tophats are protruding into your nice wagon interior.
These pics were all taken at the same height shown below, driverside rear wheel. The wheel is 15x6.5in with 195/50r15 tires. The shock is an off the shelf koni sport shock from my old eg civic(88-95 civics use the same rear koni shock excluding the wagon) This pic doesn't show but the tire is tucking slightly in the wheel well. Also I wouldn't be able to get this low with stock tophats(with half cut bumpstops) or the extended aluminum top hats I have, the lowest I was able to go was 1 1/4 finger gap while laying on the bumpstops. I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

Are the last few photos to show the approximate height of the strut in the suspension mount point while using an extended top hat?
