89 rt4wd auto, shifting issues

Did a few searches, can't find anything helpful.. Here's my problem. 89 rt4wd, auto, 159k. Around 150 my trans would occasionally rev to the moon between shifting between 1st and 2nd, if you let off it would grab 2nd and be fine. Changed out the old fluid ad added genuine honda fluid, After a few drives the issue cleared up, and everything seemed ok. About 2k miles ago, the trans started doing it again, but now it skips 2nd all together and goes straight into 3rd. It also decided that it no longer wants to drop back down gears on decel, nor does it go back into first after coming to a complete stop at a light. Do you guys think my tranny is finally dead? Or could it be a shift solenoid or and adjustment that's out of whack? Figured I'd ask before Saving up and trying to find another rt4wd auto trans.

    Have you checked your diagnostic codes it may be throwing at you?

    Would it have codes with no cel?

    No, just checking to make sure you checked for them. Unless someone has tampered with your light. Check the computer just in case....I've seen this happen before.
