Not new to wagons since I bought a 90 dx auto for my mom ten years ago. I caught the bug back then because I found myself making excuses to switch cars with her because I thought it was a great little car. I swore then that if I came across a manual I would snatch it up. Fast forward ten years and I come across a 89 RT4WD four blocks away from a doctors appt. I had taken mom to. It was sitting behind an apartment complex under a car cover. I was able to talk to owner into selling...$2300 plus a bunch of parts. The wagon was in great shape for a Jersey car. No rust, engine and tranny were smooth and strong, all the electrics work. The bad...bushings and shock are shot, typical drivers seat damage, ac needs charging, heater core has a blockage, and the tires were all dry rotted out from sitting for so long. All in all its in pretty good shape for a 25 yr old wagon. Since I've gotten all the bushings...and I mean all of them replaced, new struts all the way around, and new Cooper WeatherMaster ST/2 tires on all four corners. Here are some pics.
