My 1992 2 Door, 4x4, GMC Yukon!

Hey guys, I thought I would go ahead and make a little thread for my 1992 2 door 4x4 Yukon. It has a rebuilt 350 v8, new 700r4 overdrive transmission, rebuilt transfer case, rebuilt rear differential, new front and rear brakes, 4 new Rancho off-road shocks, performance fuel pump, true dual Flowmaster 44 exhaust, HID headlights, Kenwood radio/deck, 2 12 inch Kenwood subs, 1000 watt Kenwood amp, electric seats, windows, mirrors, and locks, 33x12.5x17 Federal Mud tires (10 ply with Kevlar), Ranch Hand rear bumper replacement and brush guard, and countless of other miscellaneous things. I've had her for about 5 years. Now that I am starting this thread, I will probably be taking way more pics of things when I work on her. Photo heavy, sorry for the crappy quality cellphone pics.

A couple pics BEFORE the Ranch Hand rear bumper replacement and Ranch Hand brush guard. This is also when the truck was rocking 4 mismatched mud tires off of Craigslist while I saved up for my Military mud grips.

The only pictures I have of any actual work being done on the truck was when I was doing front suspension work. I was replacing the upper and lower ball joints, the upper and lower control arm bushings, CV boots, pitman arm, idler arm.

And this is how she sits today:

Also, here is a little mini bike I semi restored. It used to be red/white/blue and not running. She runs great now besides the brakes being a little weak.

Thanks sir, I love my 2 door. She has had a lot work done to her. It is nice to have a rig and a wagon, now I need a car dolly so I can tow the wagon behind the truck haha.
  • Yesterday I put a new gates thermostat, gates lower radiator hose, and a gates serpentine belt. Flushed the radiator and filled her up with fresh coolant. Running nice and cool :)
