Hood Latch Help... I searched

I have searched for information to help me replace my hood latch cable. Anyone have a write up on replacing it and which parts are interchangeable for this? Thanks guys!

doing the cable is pretty easy. from what i remember you have to remove the drivers fender, maybe just the inner fenderwell, to remove the clips holding the cable to the inner fender. there are 2 10mm bolts holding the lever to the inside of the car, and a rubber grommet at the firewall has to be pushed in towards the car. at the hood latch, pull the cable to release it from the latch assembly. i think there are a couple of clips holding the cable to the radiator support. to install the new cable you have to slide it through the firewall from the inside of the car. and reuse the clips from the old cable if you do not have new ones. the cable from all 88-91 civics should be the same.
